Functional...

We currently are using the LG Remarq as loaner phones....and thank goodness all they are is loaner. personally, my husband and I can't stand these phones. yes, they are functional....but as what? If you were to use it as just a phone then it is a little too complicated for just that. There is not just a number key pad to dial off of and you have to use the shift button to type in numbers. They keys on the key pad are extremely small and the top row is crowded into the top part of the phone so there is no room to even push the keys on the top row without hitting the wrong row. If you are using this phone to type, text, email or internet....then forget it! Like I said the key pad is very small and crowded. It is not very internet capable. The screen is very small and most things don't pull up. We are currently on a data plan until our Androids come in so this phone should have some data functionality but it is very poor. The WORST thing about this phone is it butt dials, LIKE crazy. Even if the phone is slid together when in your pocket it will still continuoulsy call the last number dialed. My husband has stopped carrying the phone and leaving it in his car while at work b/c it would continuously call me all day long. I stuck mine in my pocket the other day while at the grocery and called the last number dialed three time while i was shopping. If you are just looking for a basic phone then i would just buy a basic phone....if you are looking for internet/facebook/email capabilities then i would go with a balckberry or smartphone.....if you are looking for something jsut to text with this could work but i would definitely play with it a while before taking it home to make sure it is comfortable in your hands. This phone does work but is annoying, small and in my opinion not practical for me....doesn't mean it wouldnt be for soemone else.

Great Little Phone

First off, the phone looks great. It has a ver nice metal looking gleem to it. It is also made very sturdyly (I can't remember how many times I have dropped it, and it still works). The menu interface is built pretty well as well, and I have no problems with it. Call signal, as far as just the phone, is abover average--zero dropped calls. It also has a very nice little speaker (a leaf figured speaker), which can play pretty loudly considering the phone's size. Going along with this, I like the simple music player that comes with the phone (music via micro SD card). As far as thd keyboard, you may intially think it is too small, but I easily go accusomed to it and eventually grew fond of the keyboard. As a side note, this is not a high end phone, but it is nonetheless a great phone for the price.

LG Remaraq-Adorable and Functional

I LOVE this phone. I don't have a data plan, so I just wanted a phone that would let me text and make calls. I didn't think I would use the camera, but it's actually been an added bonus-I use it to take pictures of online maps when I'm biking somewhere I've never been! The batter life is great-I only have to charge it every4 or 5 days. I also love that it's more environmentally friendly; any time I can do something good for the environment, it's a good thing. And the shape is just really cute overall! It's not too big, and the covered keyboard means there's no accidental calls. Speakerphone also works really well.

LG Remarq

I have had this phone for about 4 months or more. I mainly use it for talking, texting with occasional facebook application usage. I do not use it for music or a lot of internet access. This phones keypad works fine for me and it is a standard QWERTY. If my fingernails were longer, i definitely would have more trouble typing due to the small keys. The phone looks pretty nice and I do like the large screen. I do wish that the mic was on the left side of the phone because people have trouble hearing me when I hold this phone to my right side. Overall, this phone is decent. I can say that it is very sturdy because I've dropped it many times and it has no sign of damage, which I cannot say for many of my past phones.

I recently got the LG remarq cellphone, and im very happy with it. I dont need a fancy phone, just one to call or text, so this was a good choice. it came free with my husbands phone, which was a good bonus, and i have had no problems with it. its slide out full qwerty keyboard is good, although the buttons are a bit small, and switching between numbers and letters can be annoying as you have to push a button before each number you type, but other than that its pretty good. the battery holds a charge very well. i have had my phone on continuously and texted and called, and it is still on 2 cells. this is great for me because the last phone we had needed a charge nearly every night. it has internet capabilities, but i have not used it as i do not have the data plan so i cant comment on that aspect all in all not bad if you just need a basic phone, but i wouldnt recommend it if you want full internet capabilities

This was not my ideal phone, based on the description.  But, I ended up purchasing it anyway.  I like the slide-out feature for the keyboard, because it makes it less bulky.  Most features on the phone work very well.  However, I'm not impressed with the camera and the music player.  I previously owned a Loft, and found the camera to be of much better quality.  Even more surprising was the Loft was about 1/3 of the price.  I think this is highly disappointing, and should not be an issue considering the retail price of the Remarq.  I wish the Remarq came with a better music player, because it's a pain to convert everything to MP3 format, especially if you have quite a few songs.  The ability to play video would also be nice, but it's not a neccessity.  My only other complaint would be that the Remarq does not have a standard headset jack.  I know most people use Bluetooth, but I found that it would not recognize my device.  I never seemed to have a problem with this, and find myself searching for a good-priced device that can be pluged in to the Remarq.
