I have owned this electric range for 15 months (AFTER the one year warranty, of course), when I began having problems with the electrical display buttons.  One of the burners would sometimes come on, and would sometimes not come on, no matter what I did in regard to pushing the button - nothing would show on the display.  Randomly, I would have problems with that one burner working or not working.  Then one day the oven would not come on at all.  I called LG, who said there were no service people in my area, and I could contact someone here, who could contact them, to discuss repairs and...

LG is the maker of inferior products. I also had this model LG range which, upon my first use of the self-cleaning oven, part of the enamel on the interior of the oven wall came off. The range was still under the manufacturer's warranty but it took a while for them to find a repair service to come out. The range was determined to be "unrepairable" but it then took weeks of calls and discussions to get the range replaced which used up a lot of warranty time. However, I was eventually told this model was no longer available so I was sent a cheaper model to replace it. It seems they would send a... read full review »

I love the look and style of my first ever new LG electric range. The oven takes a long time to pre-heat, and every time you open the door to turn food or baste, you loose at least 50 degrees. But the big problem is that after only 10 months, one of my burners does not heat up. I thinkthe problem is that the small burners that you use the most, are at the rear of the cooking surface, and all the steam for cooking goes into the electric control panel. If the big burners were in the back, the pots you usually use on them are taller, and would help alleviate this problem. Service takes incredibley... read full review »

This is the worst appliance I have ever had. It is less than 2 yrs old  and the panel is out again. I just get the run around fom LG. All I hear is I understand how you feel and I'm sorry. That doesn"t fix my range.

I was told LG doesn't give refunds, but I could take it back to the store I purchased it at. That store no longer exists.

I won't ever buy another LG product.
