it a great starter smart phone . for anyone wanting a smartphone this is the phone to start on. it never gave any issuse in two years and i would recomend it to anyone . for a smartphone its quite small but it does the job. so in closing i would say its gets an A+ from me

I don't have this particular model, I actually have a Genesis, but when I am ready for an upgrade, I may get an Optimus. I'm on my 3rd or 4th LG phone and have loved all of them. I expect that the Optimus will perform as well as the Genesis and I am hoping to get into 4G technology with my next new phone. Battery Life Smartphones tend to drain batteries quicker than traditional cell phones. If you are new to smartphones, and a customer of U.S. Cellular, be sure to take their smartphone training course so you can learn the functions and how to maximize the battery life. Display/Screen Quality Nice large screen, touch screen is great. I also recommend getting a screen protector if your phone is touch screen. Protecting the screen from the natural oils in the hands will help prolong the life of the screen. Call Quality Crystal clear calls; better than land lines Ease of Use All new phones take some getting use to. I recommend looking at everything in a phone to see where things are. Customizing home screens is also helpful. Durability As with any phone, durability depends on how often you use it and how likely you are of dropping it. I learned after many dropping accidents to get a protective case. I especially recommend getting a case for the smartphones. These are a bit heavier than traditional cell phones so if you drop it, it may get more damage. Design I was a big fan of the QWERTY keyboard until I got a touch screen. I hardly ever use the QWERTY now, preferring to use the touch screen.

ALthough i like its features i donot like one features of the phone.. like it beeps whenever u visit any store at the Mall or any place.. it is really akward .. although it isn't the fault of the cell phone,but the store.other than that this really is a very nice little phone..easy to use and handle..nice smartphone..but it is a headace when u go shopping .. i have had so many incidents.. now have stopped taking the phone to any store.. its such an embarasement.. once a store owner had to manually check me .. my phone just wouldn't stop beeping.. it is due to some magnetic thing in the phone which activates the scanner.. well not all but some stores carry cheap scanners which gets activated.. and kohls is one of them .. now i just donot take my phone anywhere ..i love all the features but its a big headace.. well as for cons i love the touch feature and all the free apps they have at the android market i donot use my personal GPs now.. just use the phone one..nice phone but please donot take it to any store or be prepared to be checked!! D
