Great entry level phone

4

Really nice phone for the lower end of the market, with good battery life and performance. The phone has a great sleek design so looks more expensive than it is, and it runs android so you can keep up to date with all of the latest apps. No real negatives for this product.

LG Lucid Smartphone

4

The LG Lucid Smartphone is running android and therefore all if not most android apps can work on the phone. The LG Lucid smarphone compares well to other more expensive smartphones in its ability to take clear photos, app usage, app availability, and basic services. It is limited phone compared to others in the video, memory, sensitive keys, and battery life. The LG Lucid has a very poor video sound. Video voice is recorded where you speak into the phone so that any video recorded from the outside of the phone records sound from the other side of the phone. The memory on the LG Lucid is low so the owner must sign up for a cloud service or delete things as needed to not slow the phone down. At times the screen can be too sensitive and push buttons while the user is talking on the phone. The battery life is the biggest obstacle for the LG Lucid. The battery life on no usage will last from 8-9 hours before it dies. With usage it will last about 6-7 hours. I recommend you have extra chargers on hand in case of an emergency. The service reach and clarity of calls is the LG Lucid's best features. If you are in need of an affordable smart phone and are prepared to keep it charged then the LG Lucid is the phone for you. Battery Life Very bad battery life. Last at the longest 9 hours unused.

Buyer Beware

This phone is the worst phone I have ever had. It freezes on me all the time. I will be in the middle of doing something and it will just freeze then I will take the battery out and put it back in and the battery will read dead. It says its charging when it is not hooked into anything and it shuts off all the time on me. The screen goes black when your trying to press in the numbers so you have to do it all again and the battery life is awful. If I charge the phone all night i have about a hour of usage during the day as long as I do not text if I text its down to half an hour. I tried to take it to the store for help and they said I could buy a replacement phone. I just got this phone 6 months ago. Next time I buy a phone I will do more research before I commit. I would not advise getting this phone. And if you do make sure to buy a spare battery that you can keep on you at all times in case of an emergency. Also the screen scratches really easy.

Good Phone

4

It sometimed has some bugs, but overall, it has been quite a good phone for me. After a couple of years of having it, it started to get more and more bugs, but they were easy to fix. I've always enjoyed LG phones. They are good quality and easy to use. I suggest anyone to buy this phone. Battery Life It was good for the most part, but as time went on it got worse. I started to have to bring a charger with me wherever I went. It became a hassle, but I have faith in this brand that it will either pull through or get better. I hope it does. Display/Screen Quality Well, most phones have a pretty good display screen. At first the reaction time was lightening fast, but it started to get slower the more stuff that was on my phone. I constantly have to empty things out to get it to work. Call Quality It used to have a fantastic call quality, but as of late, it started getting really fuzzy and staticy and it gets on my nerves. It breaks in and out a lot and sometimes it will suddenly just hang up. It's something to work on.

A great phone!

I had never owned a smart phone before I simply did not understand why people wanted them. I finally bought one at the insistence of my boyfriend and my opinion has completely changed! It is a wonderful gadget and one that I plan to use for a long time! The screen is a lot larger then my old phones were so it is easier to see what I am doing! I am not sure how I like the touch screen feature I am slowly adjusting to it though I keep accidently clicking on things when my finger is aiming for something else. I just wish that you could use a pen like you do for the Dsi on this, it would make life easier but overall this product is a great invention. I am glad I got one! Battery Life Battery life is decent enough so long as you don't have a bunch of apps open which I discovered the hard way! Display/Screen Quality graphics on this are truly wonderful! I couldn't be happier with the quality! Call Quality great! Ease of Use It is hard to hit the right buttons on the screen sometimes I wish it had a stylus Durability ive dropped it a time or two and the screen hasn't cracked and the phone works just fine! Design love how big the screen is on this device!

One Amazing Product!!!

Overall, this phone has everything i need to keep in contact with friends and family, surf the web, and keep up on news. I coulnd't ask for a better phone for the price. Battery Life The battery life is surprising for a phone this size. I can text and call and surf the web all day and it never runs dead. Extremely good battery power and life. Display/Screen Quality The screen quality is exceptional and the pictures show brightly. The screen has sharp images and that is something s a lot of phones dont have. Call Quality I can call almost anywhere and not lose signal and it is clear and easy to talk. Ease of Use This phone is so easy to use that my own grandmother can use it and my teenagers as well. It is user friendly. Durability I cant tell you how many times i have dropped my phone and it still works perfect. I have even dropped it in a snow slush puddle and wiped it off and never had a problem. Design The design is crisp and clean with no flashy styling, just plain functional.

Good value

Compared with other major phone brands, this is much easier to use with a simple user interface. It is very easy to get started and I really like the graphic design. The phone is also very fast. The wifi connection is nice. Overall, this is a decent phone.

Decent phone, nothing fancy, poor battery

3

The phone is decent - it's sleek, it's fairly simple for an android user and it's customizable, but not as much as would be preferred. I found it slightly annoying that I was unable to change specific notification sounds - I have the same for a voicemail, a text, an email, etc and it would be nice to have something different. It only has four themes and four or five fonts, not a whole lot but some. However, my biggest pet peeve with this phone is it's poor battery life. I have relatively poor service where I live and I have to recharge my phone a couple times a day. Overall, the phone serves it's basic purpose, but there is much better out there. Battery Life Within a good service area the battery may last a day or so, but if you use internet frequently or are in an area of less service, the battery only lasts a few hours. Display/Screen Quality Nice display screen quality, but the camera's auto-focus can be a bit blurrier than preferred at times. Call Quality Most of my calls are very clear. Ease of Use As an Android users I've had very few problems; my husband who switched from iPhone has had a few issues trying to navigate the settings. Durability I haven't had any major breaking issues, but anytime I drop the phone from even a few inches the battery and the back fall off Design It would be nice if they had a few more design options, but it's mostly customizable and fairly easy to navigate for an Android user.

Avoid this phone!

1

We have replaced this phone twice. The first time the phone just stopped working after a month. Verizon replaced it with a refurbished model and the second one didn't even last 2 weeks before it starts shutting itself off at random. It will not connect to 4G at all, only WiFi. We got this as a present for out teenage daughter and honestly, this brand of phone is more temperamental than the teenager we got it for! We are really disappointed as the call quality and the screen is great and it is fairly easy to use. Battery Life The battery barely lasts 5 hours with minimal use. Display/Screen Quality The screen quality is great! The screen almost looks high defination. Call Quality Calls are very clear, when the phone works! Ease of Use It takes awhile to get use to but there are some great functions like the option to type by swiping rather than letter by letter. Durability This is not what I would call tough design. I would not recommend this for anyone who has a tendency to drop their phone! Design The slim design is great but it seems very fragile.

At age 55 LG Lucid II my first smartphone

4

This LG Lucid II is my first smartphone experience. Given I didn't pay anything for it; it was the upgrade in the phone service I have I have no room for complaint. Over all this is a sweet device though it does have its drawbacks. It was very easy to set up and learn how to use the basic features. There are help features in the phone and the full manual is available online. One issue that I wasn't pleased with was there were so many factory installed apps that you aren't able to remove that hog up precious space. I purchased an SD card however your only able to store certain things on that. I was not impressed with the camera. If you are in perfect lighting situations or outdoors it takes a fine shot but get in low light forget it there is no flash. The life of the battery is nothing to write home about really need to keep an eye on those apps running in the background. I put my phone on the charger overnight and have no problems for the most part. How about some of the finer features on this device. The video camera is HD and cracker jack. I've taken some really nice videos with it. Call quality is just fine and I have experienced no difficulty using it with the hearing aids that I wear. Construction wise I think it is modern looking though I do keep it protected with a phone case. I do find that this device gets somewhat warm sometimes. I read about this issue and it was suggested to take the phone out of its case now and again to simply let it breath. I do this and it has resolved the situation. The speakers for music are of average quality. Being connected with Google there are oodles of apps to select from at the Google play store definitely something for everyone. Connection speed is seemingly fast to me though as I say this is my first experience with a smartphone so can't compare. Surfing the internet is a breeze with all the features of your PC or laptop. It amazes me that in this day and age we are now able to have our phone, internet, music, books, email and document producing ability all at our finger tips in one device. There is even a keyboard available for this device which I have ordered and look forward to trying out. I would heartily recommend this for a beginners device to get their feet wet with. Battery Life Must keep an eye on apps running in the background they really sap the device Display/Screen Quality Sometimes in direct sunlight it is difficult to read the screen Call Quality Fairly clear regularly with a minimum of dropped calls and is compatible with my hearing aids Ease of Use Well put together and constructed Durability Before I managed to get my protective case dropped at least 3 times and it held up have also dropped since I got the case and it has survived Design Think this is a modern sleek looking device
