i am one of those who can not use texting without a qwerty keyboard. this one is great for the keyboard alone! i also can not stand to use a cell phone that slides open. they are much too easy to break and i have broken a few... this one is a flip phone that fits comfortably in an adult hand ( big plus!). the lotus has an applications personal carousel right on you inner screen. set it up however you want. the camera's also easy for those who have no idea how to use a cell phone camera..like me! now if you have been forced to learn texting as i have in response to the teenager gene which refuses to acually use the phone as a phone (sigh) you will find the functions easy to figure out, even without instructions! of course it seems any age loves this phone since i have had my teenage daughter beg to get a lotus for her or trade for my own when i told her christmas was coming up. she informed me this was much too far away! i have not met anyone who has not seen me using the phone that is not absolutely fascinated...not to mention wanted to actually see it in action! i am also VERY fond of the google application and email application that can be loaded directly into your personal carousel. as for sprint itself, no no bar areas everywhere you turn, the contracts are great and the bonuses even better. i've been using them for about a decade and am still happy. so from my viewpoint this is a great phone with an excellent carrier and everybody should have one!
