I just purchased my new purple LG Lotus cell phone. For starters, it's an odd shape being square instead of rectangle. Kind of reminds me of a makeup compact. It's a little tough to navigate through until you either read the instructions or take a few hours to play with it. I did both. I learned a lot with the instructions as they do walk you through step by step - but - I also learned on my own by trial and error.
I am a total girly girl, so the purple with the swirly vines on the cover of the phone really caught my eye. It has music controls on the front lid as well as the camera. Note: The camera lense is right where you'd hold the phone, so be careful so you don't take photos of your thumb or index finger. The keys are a little tight and close together but typing is so much easier. I love that the numbers on the keypad are purple - makes dialing easier. The color screen is vibrant and true, a big plus. You don't have to squint to read texts, emails or the web.
Now, to the ringers. LOL. I love different ringers and I am a total dog freak. Well, there are 3 pre-loaded ringers that have dogs barking! LOL. I LOVE IT! When the alarm goes off the phone rings and there is a little yappy dog barking telling me to get up, take me out! My dogs start barking back. So cute. So, 5 stars to this feature. Now, I know you guys out there will think it's so lame.. but there are ringers that sound kind of Star-Trekki-ish or Bond-ish. The Bluetooth was easy to link in my car. Hands free is a total plus. You can also hook this phone up to PC's and other bluetooth devices (works well with my Sony Lap Top, havent tried it on the MAC yet).
This phone packs a lot of features but at a costly price.
Note to men: The LG Lotus comes in an all black casing for you.
