 I have owned this electric range for 15 months (AFTER the one year warranty, of course), when I began having problems with the electrical display buttons.  One of the burners would sometimes come on, and would sometimes not come on, no matter what I did in regard to pushing the button - nothing would show on the display.  Randomly, I would have problems with that one burner working or not working.  Then one day the oven would not come on at all.  I called LG, who said there were no service people in my area, and I could contact someone here, who… read full review »

LG is the maker of inferior products. I also had this model LG range which, upon my first use of the self-cleaning oven, part of the enamel on the interior of the oven wall came off. The range was still under the manufacturer's warranty but it took a while for them to find a repair service to come out. The range was determined to be "unrepairable" but it then took weeks of calls and discussions to get the range replaced which used up a lot of warranty time.
