LG LDS5811ST - HAS TO HAVE THE WORST PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET.  I BOUGHT A WASHER, DRYER AND DISHWASHER FROM THEM ALONG WITH 2 FLAT SCREEN TV - WHEN I FIRST MOVED INTO MY HOME.  THE ONLY THING STILL STANDING AFTER 1 YEAR... THE TVS.  DISHWASHER HOSE BROKE AFTER 1 YEAR.  WASHER "BOARD" FRIED BEFORE THE YEAR AND LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT THE MOLD GROWING IN THERE. ALL THE APPLIANCES WERE EXPENSIVE AND WE THOUGHT WE WERE IN GOOD HANDS.... THINK AGAIN --- SERVICE IS THE WORST.... AND NO, I AM NOT SCREAMING - THIS IS CALLED VENTING. :)

Absolutely the worst purchase I have ever made. Expensive and works poorly. The pump went out right after the warranty. It was replaced and it does not clean. LG does not stand behind their products. I will never buy another LG and I intend to tell everybody I can not to buy one.

I bought this dishwasher with the hopes that it would clean well, be reasonably long lasting, and least importantly, quiet. Installation was reasonably easy.  The one thing that bugged me was the placement of the water inlet.  Its on the lower front of the machine, and faces forward.  After installing the 90 degree fitting, the supply hose still had to be bent 90 degrees to attach to the fitting due to the location of the channel for the hose and the water valve location.  Not a big deal, but not well thought out either. I read the directions for operation and it clearly states...

This dishwasher has never ever cleaned any of my dishes. It is the worst applicance on the market. What a complete waste of money. Not only does the washer not work but LG refused to do anything about it. I wanted my money back but NOOOOO. They don't honor their warentees. I would never ever ever by anything that is LG again. I hope the word spreads.

does not matter which LG dishwasher it is, all LG products suck. i am stuck with a kitchen full of them. cant believe im saying this but the sooner they break down completely (which will be soon im sure)  the better off ill be
