Got the washer and dryer, with the pedestals, wonderful for anyone with a bad back, Researched all available brands first decided Lg was best , with Whirlpool a close second.

This washing machine is a step up from some of the other front loading washers on the market. This has all the bells and whistles of others, but I have found that it has a shorter cycle than some. This, to me, is where the energy saving comes into play. Other machines can take so long just to do one load of clothes.

First of all, the door is very tight-locking, unlike others I have used of similar style. You can fill the tub to capacity with clothes being fully washed and fresh when they are finished. The spin cycle is great and is quiet. The clothes come out without the wetness...
