Purchased this LG  LFC22740ST  a year ago and have had nothing but problems since the day I got it.  The refrigerator arrived with one of the doors dented and it took 2 months and countless phone calls to LG to get it resoved. They finally replaced it with another refrigerator, but I can tell you their customer service leaves alot to be desired. Six months after I owned it, the freezer went out. Called LG and I was told the earliest they could get someone out there was 10 days. I had to call another independent repairman and pay for it out of pocket, for what should have been covered under warranty. The stainless steel is a very thin sheet of stainless which is continually rusting. I have to clean the outside every couple of days and even then some of the rust marks won't come off. And rust is not covered under their warranty. The compressor is very loud and noisy and makes a knocking sound every time it kicks in. LG told me this was normal! I have had alot of different refrigerators throughout the years and I know that loud compressors are anything but normal. Would never buy another LG product again. They look nice but that is all I can say about it. Their customer service is horrible and their one authorized repair center in Los Angeles is not much better. There are much better products out there for the same price!
