The Flatron W2261VP from LG is a 22" widescreen TFT monitor. The display is matte. I bought one of these as my cheap-ish "lug around" monitor, but I really got much more. The versatility of this device staggering. Due to its managable dimensions, flatness and light weight its easy to pack up and move around. It's set up in a matter of seconds, and is still large enough to work in just about any Desktop environment. It is full HD capable and has ports for HDMI, DVI, and VGA. You can connect multiple devices and switch betweeen sources with the touch of a button, which is great. So far I used it as an external monitor for my MacBook Pro, a PC desktop monitor, a screen for my PS3, and even in a semi-portable miniature "home theater" setup. So far, it performed outstanding in all of these roles. The image quality leaves nothing to be desired - it is, in fact, much better than I expected from a product from this price range. Very bright even in daylight, great viewing angles, vivid colors. Build quality is excellent - there are no signs of wear even after moving it around homes and across countries for over a year now. The device feels solid and very stable when properly set up. The design is great and stands out, in a good way - I really dig the button-less, touch-activated power switch. You basically turn the device on and off by gently stroking the lower right corner. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase, and would recommend it to any one looking for an affordable, good quality, mid-sized multi-role monitor.
