LG - EnV Touch Cell Phone Reviews

The LG EnV Touch is a relatively new phone but a classy one.  It was built to replace the LG Voyager and has done a more than adequate job.  The phone comes with all the features one would want on a cell phone and more.  The touch screen, once it has learned your touch, works as good as any on the market.  One feature I really like is when I'm writing a note or a text from the touchscreen, I can turn the phone in the landscape position and get a virtual fullsize keyboard.  Another great feature using the touchscreen in the portrait position, you can use a stylus or pen to write notes or text...

I got this phone roughly three weeks ago and I love it so far.  The touch screen on the outside is easy to use and has alot of great features.  You can text on the touch screen or open it and text on the full keyboard.  My favorite part of this phone is a place where you can put all of your favorite features and applications in one place for easy access so you don't need to go through the hassle of going to menu, tools, alarmclock, set, etc.  It also has an easy way to call all of your favorite people really fast!  The camera on this phone can't be beat either.  It is so clear! When I first got my phone I was a little skeptic. I was afraid that it would be hard to understand or that the touchscreen would just do things I didn't request it to do. All those thoughts went away after the first hour. I sat down and worked around the phone to see how it worked and I loved it! I got this phone because it has the touch screen and a keypad. This phone is absolutely fabulous!!! My daughter had the LG Env, and I knew I wanted one similiar to it. I was just about to buy the env 2 when the env touch came out. My daughter got the new LG Dare and she loves that phones. I wanted the touch screen feature but I also wanted the key pad. I was blown away when the ENV Touch came out and even though I was not eligiable for a upgrade i had to have that phone and I have been very very happy with it. I thought long and hard about purchasing this phone, but I am so glad that I did.  This phone is a great value and a great alternative to anyone looking for an iPhone.  It is small and lightweight, but not so much that it feels fragile.  There are dozens of features on this phone that are similar to the iPhone.  Granted it does not have as many app optios, butI think it makes up for it in other ways.  I personally love having a QWERTY keyboard on the phone.  I get annoyed when I make a bunch of typing mistakes on  touch-screen, so it is nice to have an alternative.  The web browser works...

Ah the LG Envy, what I thought would be very comparable to the Iphone but with a qwerty keyboard has proved me slightly wrong. After smashing the screen on my first generation enV I was hesitant to replace my phone with the newer enV, thinking the two would be the same. I have not been impressed with my EnV Touch.  Having worked in the Wireless Phone industry for several years, I've tested a gambet of phones.  The precursors to the EnV Touch rarely had problems (The V, the EnV, and the EnV2).  Since upgrading to this phone, however, I have had numerous problems.

First of all, the motion sensors for the touch screen are fickle.  If I'm entering information into an IVR when calling a company, I often have to open the phone to place it on speaker, because the touch screen will not display the dial pad to enter my selections.  Also, the touch screen can be overly...

The EnV Touch is the neatest phone I have owned so far. It does so much that I sometimes feel that I cant use all its features, but I am still glad I got it. It amazes me what these new phones can do and that it makes life easier. If its keeping track of kids, family or friends its right there. The bluetooth capability is nice for hands free communication or a speakerphone that is actually loud enough to hear, I really like the phone. I have recently upgraded to the EnV Touch from the Samsung Glyde.  The phones are similar in the fact that they both have a touch screen and a physical keyboard.  The EnV Touch, however, has a clamshell-like design where it opens to the keyboard rather than it sliding out.  I did appreciate the slide out keyboard from my previous phone but after getting used to the new opening keyboard I am liking that as well.  The touch screen on this phone is 100 times better than the touch screen on my old phone.  It responds very well and I have not had to restart this phone once because of any touch...
