The LG ENV 3 is the best phone I've bought from Verizon.  I've had many phones and this one by far beats all the others.  The picture quality is great.  3.0 megapixels!!! You can't beat that.  Also, with the memory card added, it makes the phone that much better.  I can record hour long videos, and hold more pictures that I could ever take, and have all my favorite songs, instead of only having enough phone memory to hold 10 songs.

The internet on the phone is pretty great too.  A little slow, but other than that, good internet for a cell phone.  I love the QWERTY keyboard.  The full...

Of all the compact QWERTY phone designs (check them out here), we like the LG enV model the best, with its small but useful external screen and its roomy internal keyboard and display. The phone was a bit thick and chunky but it was so comfortable to use, with large keys inside and out, that we hardly noticed its size. The new LG enV3 is even better than its predecessors, with its ability to download and sync corporate e-mail and contacts, its improved call quality and multimedia experience, especially in video. It isn't perfect, as the Web browser and the 3-megapixel camera left us disappointed,...

The LG ENV 3 Touch is one of the most awesome phones I have ever owned. There are so many options it will take you through a good tour to enjoy all the aspects of this phone.  The front of the phone gives you the chance to all the options by touch. You can put your own wallpaper and even a small banner that can say how you feel or who you are. You can place shortcuts on the front screen that makes it easy to just touch and go. When your text messages come through you can just slide the lock and choose to read it now or later right from the front screen.

Once the phone is flipped open you have...

I never used to be a fan of texting but once I got my hands on an env phone by LG I changed my mind.  I started out with the original LG En-V and recently upgraded to the LG En-V3.  My best friend had the En-V2 and it wasn't bad so I decided the next one up had to be decent.  Plus I chose the red, which happens to be my favorite color.  Texting is convenient.  It's no blackberry but it does have internet access which is still convenient.  I've only had the phone for a few months and I'm generally happy with it.  My only issue was with the internet access.  It's not like viewing the actual...

Pros: Very attractive design. Fits nicely in the hand. Dual texting options (numeric or QWERTY). Loaded with features.

Cons: T9 doesn't store custom words. Outside screen is rather small with very limited menu options and it has low resolution. Vibration is kind of weak. I wish it came in black (but the blue is very nice). Charging cable is too short.

Summary: I originally wrote a much longer review for this phone, but it exceeded CNET's character limit, so here is my slimmed-down review.

OUTSIDE

The outside keypad: I read a lot of other reviews about this phone concerning the T9 function. They said...

Fantastic phone - I am not at all a texter, and I am a slave to my Chocolate 2, but enV 3 definitely grabs me.

First, the color (slate blue) is really gorgeous, not at all like on the photo - it's very elegant and sophisticated.

Second, the keyboard is fantastic - just the right size, even if it seems that you should be missing keys or hitting several at a time - it never happens.  The cool thing is that it's like a micro-notebook - when I go to the library to do some research (for school), I don't haul my laptop anymore - I just type up notes right on this little devil, it's an awesome feeling...

I love this phone. I am not very hip with all the texting and stuff. But this phone has made it easy. My son and I have the same phone, and he likes his too. It makes it easy to keep in touch. Sending pictures and texts are easy and convenient. I have Verizon Wireless and have not had any problems with cell service. I am still figuring some stuff out. But it has been great. I just started getting music and it is easy and not expensive. I really enjoy my new phone. We have a family share plan and I am thinking of getting my daughter a phone on it as well. That way the whole family can... review »

The EnV 3 is one of the best cellphones around. The only thing that may be better is the EnV touch, which just has a touch screen. The EnV 3 has many great features which make it one of the best cell phones for today. The first is obviously calling people. It can hold hundreds of contacts and can assign many people for speed dialing (pressing and holding a number) which can exceed 9. Just press 1 then press and hold zero for the 10th speed dial contact. next is the picture features. The camera is a 3.0 megapixl, which is amazingly clear for a cellphone camera. You can take several different kinds...

The LG Env3 is not only a great phone but it has a camera that takes pictures as well as alot of digital cameras and being able to send the pictures is wonderful.  The phone works great.  When making calls the sounds comes through loud and clear.  I like the fact that i can load music onto a micro SD card and play it through the phone.  The sound is great.  I am new to texting but this phone makes it easy.  With the full keyboard and easy to use messaging you can't do it wrong unless you enter the wrong number.  Having the GPS capabilities is a nice feature for when you are traveling, it...

This phone is good for anyone. If you are a texting fanatic or maniac this is the perfect phone for you. The Env3 is easy to use and it has a family locator on it. You can listen to music.I love the qwerty keyboard because i can sit it down on the table and type like I am on the computer. If you love to communicate constantly with friends family this is the phone for you. You are able to go on the web and check email facebook myspace etc. You can read you voice mail. When i got the phone it took me awhile to really learn the phone. There are things that i am constantly find out about this phone....

The LG EnV3 is a very good phone I got it a couple months ago. It has the QWERTY keyboard which is very nice for text messaging, which I do a lot of. The Micro SD cards are universal though a variety of different phones. It also had a favorites list that you can add 5 people to where you can access them fast. There is the ICE (In Case of Emergency) contacts as well. I enjoyed having the feature of the Set-Up Wizard. It goes through everything so when you first get your phone you can set all your ring-tones and backgrounds and everything. I love my phone.

I really like this phone. It's a great phone for texting and you can use either the keyboard or the front of the phone. The speakerphone is great and loud so you can hear clearly. The camera is great and you can send really clear pictures to your friends and family. The other sounds besides the speaker phone are also very good.

The EnV 3 from Verizon is a really great phone I got it mainly for the QWERTY keyboard. But it turned out to be worth much more then that. I love the design and the color ( I got maroon) The camera and video recording is pretty awesome. Its super super clear. It even clears up pictures that look grainy on the phone that sent it to you. But when you get the picture, its totally clear. I love that! This phone is really all about texting. It makes texting more fun and I think it goes so much faster then with like T9- word or something. The features that can come with the phone are wide ranged...
