LG Dryer - Tromm Dryer - DLE7177WM Review

I wish I could say more great things about our LG Tromm Dryer.  We purchased it 2 years ago with the matching washer.  The Washer has been good as far a cleaning, quietness, ease of use and great looking, but we have had the infamous odor problem.  However, this is the least of my problems.  The Dryer also started out great, but we recently experienced a major problem with the dryer drum.  We started to hear a loud thumping noice from the dryer, and discovered that the dryer drum was cracking at the inside seam.  The dryer is 2 years old, so LG will not cover this repair under warranty.  I tried to explain that a $1000.00 dryer drum should not crack only after 2 years of use, but they still will not consider covering any repairs.  I have found that this problem is not that uncommon, as there are more blogs found on the internet with the same problem.  I am upset with LG and will never recommend another LG appliance to anyone.
