I purchased my Lg vx8600 about six months ago and am so pleased!  The battery life on this phone is incredible!!  I don't live on my cell, but I do use it regularly, and I consistently get two weeks on a charge.  I previously owned a little Samsung phone that I got 1-2 days on, which I used to think... review »

Verizon rep sold me on this phone based on its rep for quality when compared to the Motorola Razr.  I had been looking to purchase a Razr when my contract was up to get a new phone, but the rep said they had been getting a lot of Razrs back with problems, and not many of the LG VX8600 phones were coming...

Sleek and pretty
Every day computer user, somewhat tech savvy

I have been the owner of this phone for over a year now. Unfortunately I found out they don't make these anymore. But I love the old version (mine) more than the new! It is a lot sleeker, and I love the black color. Texting is ok, but the photo quality of the camera is AMAZING!!! And the screens, outside and inside, are good too. All in all a lovely phone...I guess try the new one or buy one of these on ebay!!!

cool phone,but volume levels are way too soft and no fix in site
value conscious, not rich, usually just making or receiving a call, not duct taped to my cell phone, a pet owner, a busy person, appreciative of good service, Every day computer user

This is a great looking phone, with many bells and whistles. Unfortunately, I rely on speaker phone a lot, and the volume levels on this phone are awful! Recent contact with LG says they are aware of the complaints from users, but there are no upgrades in the near future. Too bad that this phone is on a 2 year contract. On the upside, my teenage daughter thinks it better than her Samsung sch u740!

I really love this phone. Its sleek, user friendly and attractive. It has great button placement and is comfortable in hand. Verizon could have programed some better features or should I say options in the software but not much you can do about that. The camera feature could be a little better with a flash. but over-all I am very very satisfied and pleased with this phone.

i purchased one for me and my teen son so it gets a workout and i can say we have had no problems whatsoever!! very sleek and easy to use!the only thing i wish i knew it did not have a speaker phone when i bought it,other than that no complants,thanks.
