Verizon LG Chocolate — This month our Verizon phone contracts were up, which means that we got to pick out new phones and renew our contract.    Since my Son is on our family plan, it meant he got to pick out a new phone, too.  He kept talking about a "Chocolate". … read full review »

I have been so disappointed in this phone! I have the phone in my pocket at work all day... all of a sudden people start calling me to tell me that my phone keeps calling them. Tehy aren't even at the top of my contact list or the last person I called. I was sent a new one to rectify the… read full review »

I have to admit that I love slide phones, so to start the fact that the LG Chocolate was a slide phone was a bit plus.  I hate bulky, big and awkward phones, which is another reason I decided to go with the phone.  It's sleek, small, and packs a punch for the price. — — I was impressed with the quality of the camera in the phone, a whapping 1.3 MP.  You can't really compare that to any digital camera, but compared to my last cell phone, it was a great improvement.  You can also record video on the phone.  You can set both videos and pictures you have… read full review »

This phone rocks! The best feature is the touch pad. It has an adjustable sensitivity level to customize it. This really is the reason I love the phone. It is very cute and compact, but I love the touch feature. The music player is great! If you receive a call or message during listening, after you finish the music starts right back where you left off. The earpiece has a good volume range. I never have a problem with not being able to hear the person I'm talking to. I usually have to turn it down! This phone is… read full review »

Th LG Chocolate is an attractive phone that comes in a variety of colors.  If that is what you buy the phone for then it would be a good choice for you.  If you do any texting or are clumsy and drop it, even from a short distance, you should look to another phone. — — Within one month of having the phone the numbers were worn almost completely off from texting.  As it was under warranty a replacement phone was provided but the service plan was extended from the date of replacement.  Then after two months and having it fall to a carpeted area approximately two… read full review »

When I first got my Chocolate I was cautious.  I had had a slider before and liked the feature because the phone is small and sliding it makes it larger and easier to handle.  The Chocolate has a lot of features which can complicate things for me -- I want to be able to charge the battery and be ready to go.  While the Chocolate was somewhat intuitive to make a call all the other feature require reading the manual.  So for the first time I actually read the manual for a phone. It does everything that most good phone can do -- text, connect to the net, camera etc… read full review »

Phone:  Service is almost always available (as is with all Verizon phones).  Sound is good, but I've noticed echoing with my new phone (I didn't have this problem with my first Chocolate).  — Music:  I haven't found a way to organize the files any way other than alphabetically, which is disappointing because you can't just set your phone to play through a list.  Every time a song finishes, you have to scroll through and find the next song you want to hear.  The sound isn't bad for playing through the tiny speakers, but if you want to listen through… read full review »

I fell in love with this cellphone at first. It was very stylish, I loved the color (pink), and it wasn't a flip phone - something new just slides. I already had verizon wireless to begin with - which is a pretty good phone company compared to most out there. I have a good plan with them so I decided to get my financee and I a phone plan together. We both got the LG Chocolate (buy one get one free) and we loved them at first. The screen is very clear, there pretty small and compact, etc. But days later after using the phones for a while we realized the cons. It's kind of hard to text… read full review »

LG Chocolate —  I got this phone and use it as a prepaid phone.  I don't use it all that much because I have another phone that I use for my main cell phone.  Anyways, I never have been able to use this phone without one difficulty.  The touch screen keys are kind of cool but I hit every button except for the one I intended to hit.  I have had a lot of problems with text messaging on it.  I get errors everytime I try to send a text message.  I really like the slide style of phone and the color (black) and the music capabilities, but thats about… read full review »

The Chocolate LG cell phone is very attractive, but hardly functional. I owned this phone for a couple months before the touch screen started acting up. My husband and I both got the black LG Chocolate phones as soon as they came out. The touch screen was very sensative when we first started using them, however withing a couple months everything started falling apart. Ill be honest, my husband does not take care of his phone very well, but I do. The send button on both of our phones went haywire. I would press the call button and it would start calling the first person on my call list without… read full review »

Overall, my LG chocolate phone is average.  I don't use it for music, but it can store a lot of media.  Some of my disappointments are the holsters that are compatible with the phone, muffle the speaker, so you can't hear it ringing.  The speaker is located in the back of the phone.  I also get the occasional echo of my voice during phone conversations.  I like the size of the phone.  It easily fits in my pocket.  The touch buttons are too sensitive, which is also one of the disadvantages.  The settings is adjustable, but it's either not sensitive… read full review »

The LG cherry chocolate is cute but I would not purchase it if I had to do it again.  First of all, the keys are very touchy.  Before you know it, you are calling someone in error because the touchpad dialed it in error.  The menus are nice but difficult to navigate around with because of the touchpad being so sensitive.  The keypad is much to small to text message easily with.  I have small fingers and still have a difficult time texting.  I do like the fact that it is compact and unique.  I did purchase the software to download and play music on it. … read full review »

Verizon offers great service, the best in my area.  I do not drop calls with their seervice, but the phone is outdated.  and i am not happy with verizon's warranty plans.  I had a phone break one week after getting it.  It was a software issue because the screen would just turn white and stay that way until i pulled the battery, and verizon told me that i had dropped it too many times, even though not only had i never dropped the phone, but there were no scratches or dents to warrant such a claim.  verizon keeps making revisions to the phone, and even with the… read full review »

I have had the LG Cherry Chocolate for about a year now and have had to have it replaced 3 times. I am someone who is very careful with my phone - I rarely ever drop it, never drop it in the toilet of a cup of coffee, and always have it in a safe place where I know it won't get stepped on or smashed. —  While the phone design is very stylish, it extremely lacks in other areas. At times, the buttons are far too sensitive, at other times they don't work at all. While in my pocket or purse, my phone has randomly called (and hung up) on numerous people. The picture quality and… read full review »

I loved the compact look of the Chocolate Phone and the idea that it acts like your very own iPod was really cool. I soon found out that this phone's usability was awful. If you text message at all, it's nearly impossible to use. The buttons are either extremely sensitive or cannot pick up what you are doing at all. The battery life is AWFUL. I was on the internet on the phone watching video content for a total of 30 minutes before the battery died on me. I HIGHLY suggest against this phone! — — —… read full review »
