I have no home phone so I rely on my cell phone for every call I have to make. I don't use the internet on the phone, I don't text very much, I basically use it to call out and to accept calls. Since that is the basis of phones I expect every phone to be able to send and receive calls very well. I chose an inexpensive phone because I am not a person who likes to spend hundreds of dollars on much of anything, let alone a phone. I liked that the phone had a little mirror on the front, which is perfect for a girl. I also liked how vibrant the colors were on the new screen. I enjoyed that it was small and light-weight also.
When first using it, I found the little annoying flaws in it. I didn't like that the phone did not have a front display, so I have to open the phone every time I want to see the time or see who is calling. It is not a camera phone, so you cannot take pictures. It also does not have a speakerphone which I find myself needing more and more in order to multi-task at home.
After having the phone for a while, I became even more annoyed with using the phone. Sometimes when I hit the buttons, they don't work immediately. For example, if I am trying to call a radio station to win a prize, I want to be able to call until I get a busy signal, hang up quickly and immediately call back. Sometimes the hang up doesn't work immediately and I have to wait a second and hang up again. The most frustrating thing about the phone is that it will automatically change the ringtone volume from high to vibrate. I have missed many important calls this way and it angers me to no end. I will have my ring volume on high in my purse, and then when I check it a few hours later, I have a few missed calls and it is because it was on vibrate and I could not hear it.
Just beware that if you pay a cheap price, you are going to get a cheap product... in this case anyway.
