We bought this dishwasher to replace a GE.  Within just a few months the bottom racks became loose and it was difficult to get them to stand up straight when placing bigger/heavier objects below.  It became extremely frustrating.  After about a year the diswasher began to leak.  We had the repair man come out several times to replace doors, seals and gaskets.  Nothing worked and it started doing damage to our kitchen floor.   We ended up donating the dishwasher and replacing it with a thermador that we love!

LG - LDF6810ST We bought this as after a kitchen remodel along with the range.  What a mistake.  The dishwasher will not clean dishes even after hand rinsing and using power scrub.  We've followed the trouble shooting checking the filters, arms etc for any blockage.  LG should stay in the cell phone business and get out of appliances.  Give me back my Kitchenaid!

Being budget conscious yet willing to pay for quality items, we picked out this LG Dishwasher and then planned our whole kitchen remodel around it!! Unfortunate for us the dishwasher has broken on us after only a year and a half. Of course LG only warranties the item for one year, which is okay if you buy the extended warranty, but what happens when that runs out? Is the thing going to break again in another year and a half?? We are so upset because we have the matching refrigerator and am now regretting that purchase as well. Thank goodness we didn't buy the stove!! How is it that the old as hell dishwasher still runs and the shiny new one breaks down?? Quality is suffering for this product. It was very quiet while it lasted and our dishes always came out clean but for the cost we could have washed dishes ourselves and gone on a nice family vacation. When we called the manufacturer to find out the code that the dishwasher gave us they said it was for a bad motor. Then they told my husband that they have a one year parts and two year labor warranty that we needed to call back with date and proof of purchase. We found the receipts and when we called back the next customer service rep said that we had been given false information that all LG appliences have a one year warranty on parts and labor. LG has definitely lost us as customers, and we are telling all our friends. Beware of LG appliances!

We purchased the LG Electronics LDF6810BB Fully Integrated 24-in. Under Counter Dishwasher (16 Place Settings, Black - MPN: LDF6810BB) in June of 07. It died Christmas Day 07. LG could not find a service agent to fix the dishwasher in our area of Greenvill Al. They decided to replace it with a new unit. October of 08 the 2nd dishwasher died the same death. The motor burns out, weak pump motor, and a LE code appears. LG was contacted several times over a 3 to 4 week period with no results. They could not find a service agent to come to the area again to repair the 2nd dishwasher. LG said since the original purchase was over the 1 year period, it would be left up to us to find a service agent. No one want to work on the LG dishwasher. After several more calls to the service center and no results, it was determined that this Fancy looking dishwasher is no more than a 6 to 9 month over priced dish drainer and not the dishwasher it is discribed to be. BUYER BEWARE. I requested replacement, repare or refund but no result! The new Whirlpool may make a little more noise but it does clean the dishes. No resolution to my expensive problem lead me to writing this review. DO your research before buying such investment.

We bought this dishwasher after having a dushwasher that had to be fixed over and over. It is not as quiet as advertised, but it cleans very well especially after I had a dishwasher that didn't work. I really like this dishwasher.
