LG 50PG20 50 in. HDTV Plasma TV —
This is my first plasma tv. I like the LG 50PG20. This is the lowest model that LG makes in the 50 in but I am satisfied so far. I have had this tv for only a month. No problems so far. I notice in the first minute that the color pixels in the tv need to clear and calibrate. When you first cut on the tv you can tell that the image look cartoonish, but they clear up. The black colors are not all that great. I bought this tv at bestbuy for 999. it is a 720p. It is great for tv, which is broadcasted in 480i. only the equipment that is able to run 1080p is a blu ray player, xbox360, ps3, or upgrade hdtv box, dont have to waste your money on 1080p. This model uses a lot of energy but is still considered a energystar. The volume is not at all great. No flat screen is. they come with 2 20watt speakers. there is anti glare protection. viewing angles are great. no burn in spots yet.Last edited on Feb 25, 2009
