I've never had a better washer! I seriously love this one! We had to exchange two other washers cause they just weren't cleaning anything and we got this one and it's the choice I could have made!

Life Is Good

I have had this set for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. My clothes feel much cleaner and I love the steam option. The drum is noisy and shakes like it is out of balance which I I am hoping is just a leveling issue.

arrived broken, can't fix it, won;t replace it

it arrived broken. they have sent repair people four times. on hte 4th time they finally replaced the cracked drum, but now it pounds and pounds when it goes into spin cycle. they still won't replace what they can't fix. leaking seams to be a common problem as when you call customer service the automated reply is how to fix leaks on your own. it is a terrible product and the customer service stinks.

Washes my king comforter

5

With a family of five our washer gets a ton of daily use. We owned a LG front load washer for seven years with no issues until it started making a winding noise. We had purchased an extended warranty from the big box chain when we bought the washer and as a result were able to exchange our failing washer for this brand new LG 4.3 cu.ft. Ultra Large Capacity TurboWash™ Washer w/Steam WM3570HVA. I am in love. It is basically the same as our old LG washer but with a bigger tub capacity, more cycles and improvements made to the wash cycles. My old LG could wash my king comforter but it would be a beast to cram it in there and get a good rinse and spin cycle on it. My dry time would double because it was still pretty wet. However, with this new washer and the extra space, my king comforter is washed, rinsed and spun perfectly. I don't have to spend hours drying it. I am so pleased with the additional cycles that were added, and the turbo wash feature. I am especially pleased with the sanitary feature. I love that it heats the water to the appropriate temperature right there at the machine. I also love the quick speed cycle when you just want to wash a couple of items. It gets the job done in fifteen minutes or less. I have always felt that the LG washer got my clothes clean and this model washer is no exception. I truly believe it washes deep into the fibers and has helped wash many tough stains out of my kids' clothes. I have been extremely pleased with the LG brand of washers. Even though I was given the opportunity to choose any brand I wanted to replace my washer under the extended warranty, after hours of research I still chose LG and I am so pleased with the decision. I truly love this washer and all the features are actually functional. There are twelve preset functions, but you are still allowed to tweak the water temp, spin and heaviness if you want. So, the presets are great if you want to push and go, but you also have the flexibility to customize your own wash cycle. I also want to point out that I leave the soap drawer and the tub door open to air out after I am done washing and I never had a mold, mildew or stinky issue with my LG washer like a lot of people complain about. This model is made the same way and I plan to keep letting it air out after each use as well. I recommend this LG washer to any family big or small. It's a great investment.

It's Like My New Hobby

The old LG washer died. The old LG was only 6 years old and had been in storage for 14 months while we were overseas. I thought that the perpetually renovating neighbors were out jackhammering away so I investigated the noise. No, nothing outside. I followed the sound to the washing machine. The drum had detached from whatever it is supposed to be attached to and was going back and forth hard enough for water to come through the door. Since I need a washing machine and not a percussive instrument, I started reviewing machines online at several sites. And this LG kept coming up as a winner in the eyes of both the consumer and independent professional reviews. Still being leery of another LG, I went off to visit it at a local store. It has been redesigned wonderfully. The large knob to select the wash cycle you want is much easier and more reliable than the old large press-in-the-center button. It has enough cycles to do just about anything. The salesperson didn't think that a king size quilt would fit, but all the reviews and LG itself say that the tub is large enough and it is. If you have a very puffy quilt, maybe think twice. I love the quick cycle. Five pairs of yoga pants in 14 minutes which leaves the machine ready for another load. Silly as you may think it is, there is a light that comes on while you are putting laundry in and taking it out. And that helps prevent putting in items that you don't want it that particular load. It also helps at the end if there are items which you don't plan to put in the dryer. The drawer for the liquid detergent now has markers for how much liquid to use, although I still use a bit less. You can also remove this little dispenser easily and dump the excess water out of it and should each time. The drawer itself is tightly held in to the point that "press" which is located between the bleach and fabric softener dispensers is a nice work out. But it does prevent the drawer from being yanked out mistakenly. New directions make it clear to empty the water hose and clean the machine - the option is located on the knob - once a month if not more often. The gasket that surrounds the tub is wider and easier to clean than the Tromm which I previously owned, but it is still less than perfect. If you can't deal with the gasket, consider a top loader. The front loaders use less water and are more energy efficient which is important to me. It is also a "smart" appliance so if you have the app and the inclination you can start the machine remotely. I have not tried this. For the price and given what it offers, I think this machine is hard to ignore. But I will know definitively in 6 years. Durability I don't know. Ask me in 6 years.

The Most Amazing Washer

5

This LG washer is amazing. It has a large capacity, so you can do the equivalent of two standards loads. It love all of the different load options available such as tub clean, heavy duty, allergen, bulky, cotton, towels, delicate, etc. I also love the options within the load options as well, such as warm water, hot water or very hot; prewash or extra rinse cycle; various spin cycles, etc. This is a great machine and does an excellent job washing clothing. Energy Efficiency I love that I only have to use a little bit of soap to wash my clothing. This saves me so much money on detergent. Cleaning Time For some cycles, I feel as though the clean time takes longer than it should, but overall, my clothing is cleaning and I don't have extra water in the tub like I did when I had a standard top load washer. Performance This does an excellent job cleaning clothing. Ease of Use This is such an easy machine to use. It is electronic and has a touch screen for choosing different options. Design Sleek and functional. Durability This is for large, bulky and heavy duty loads.

Very sturdy, capable machine

I purchased the LG WM3570HVA Washer a few months ago. There weren't any reviews about it so I had to go by the spec sheet. I'm glad I purchased it though because it's loads (pun intended) better compared to my older washer. In my household, in a week we would do 5 loads of laundry, so we needed a washer that could hold large loads of clothes. On first look, the LG washer's drum is wide and deep. The inside is made of stainless steel, tilted back for clothing retention. Loading clothes is easy. There are many features included that you could just choose with a spin of a knob, or you could customize your own cycle that isn't on the dial with an NFC command via their app (note: it's not fully customizable, but you do get a little more choice). If you get technical, you can utilize its secret "service mode" and can get a little more out of the machine (eg: service mode can get around their water limiting features on certain types of loads). I also love that when it's done, it sings a little theme (you can also choose the volume, if singing washers isn't your cup of tea). The machine also has large ball bearings inside to "balance" out the load. It means that when your load spins around, sometimes it gets unbalanced (one side is more compacted with clothes), that's when the ball bearings shift and gives the unbalanced side more weight to compensate. Some things that I wish LG would have added into this washer to make it a better model would be is that there is no drum light! The window is made of glass on the inside, but on the outer part of the washer's door, it's made of tinted black plastic. You cannot anything-- that means you can't see how the wash is going, if there is enough soap, if there is anything dispensed, etc. Adding a simple little drum light that's available in their other models would have been very useful. What I had to do was attach a ring light to the center of the glass and I could see inside. The second thing that I wish they did better was either create something that wouldn't cause the gasket to wear down so quickly. There is a large rubber gasket that when the water splashes against the inside glass cover, diverts into the gasket that diverts the water into a drainage hole. If the load is unbalanced, it causes the drum to rub up against the gasket. As a result, when you take your laundry out, you get a bit of gray dust on the gasket. I'm not sure how long the gasket would last, if it continues to wear down. Seems like a very sturdy machine, but what's sturdy if the inside parts wear down quick? I really like the machine. I've had it for just about 3 months now and I would recommend anyone finding it on sale to purchase it. Hopefully if LG reads this, they could implement some of the missing features (or provide current consumers of this product some sort of upgrade option), it would make this machine a much better product. Energy Efficiency It doesn't use that much water, or even electricity. Cleaning Time Depending on what type of load you want, it can take as little as 20 minutes to as long as 2 hours. Performance Performed better than our old model, which was a Kenmore stacked laundry center. Ease of Use Just spin the knob to your desired load type and press the play button. Design Designed for the average consumer, the buttons are large, and there is a backlit display for ease of use and readability. Durability Seems pretty sturdy, for now.

Large Capacity

We bought this washer after falling in love with our LG TV. Sounds funny but we got to learn about LG when researching for a new TV and learned about the quality of LG products. LG seems to be the underdog in appliances - they are quiet but they make great products. Energy Efficiency For the capacity of this washer, I think it is very energy efficient. We haven't had it long enough to really see an impact on our water bill but I think compared to our old washer, it is a lot more green. Cleaning Time Standard cleaning times. You can select the types of cycles you want. I love that you can opt for shorter cycles if you just want to quick wash. Performance Because of its efficiency, it seems like the washer doesn't clean as well as older washers. The more high tech and fancy the appliance is these days, it feels like the performance is compromised. Ease of Use Simple buttons, but because it's so customizable, it can be a little confusing because you have so many options. I just stick with the standard wash cycles, Design Beautiful stainless steel Durability To be determined but it seems like new appliances these days don't last as long as the older ones. They used to last 20+ years. Now, you have to switch out your appliances every 5-7 years.
