Personally I'm a Sony type of guy when it comes to TV, I'd rather cut my budget elsewhere when money is a bit too tight like food, I'll hit the salad bar instead. Element stopped all that it really did it has a good combination of picture and sound, so I was able to eat whatever I wanted, sure Sony has been around a lot it is a good brand, you should buy it but when money is tight Element is the cheaper alternative. Don't get me wrong Sony is a great brand, but with today's economy cutting corners is very popular and it is very helpful to understand that this doesn't have to include cutting your HD picture quality or sound. Simply stated you want a TV that gives you amazing quality broadcasting and this is it, sure it has it's problems all televisions do, it took me a while to learn all it's features, it looks heavier than it actually is and yet the picture is so precise I can watch all my old VHS tapes and still see them so clearly.
