I purchased this tv three months ago and fell in love immediately. The clarity of the picture is amazing! The sound is very good as well. My husband and I still comment on how clear the picture is, especially when viewing blu-ray discs. It is just remarkable. I could not be any happier. One of my favorite things about this tv is the menu. It was incredibly easy to get the settings just right. The menu guides you through each setting, such as brightness, sharpness, etc. by giving you a sample to look at, whereas on most tvs you have to do this while watching a changing screen. We were so happy that we promptly went out and purchased an LG blu-ray player, and again the menu was awesome. It took us awhile to upgrade to a flat screen HD tv, and we are so glad that we chose this LG. We're considering purchasing a larger LG for our den because we've been so pleased with the quality of this unit.

I needed a TV for the guest room and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. But I still wanted a decent quality that's why I decided to go with LG. I wanted at least a 1080p LED TV with a 120 Hz screen refresh rate, everything below that would be a waste of money. The LE5300 is an edge-lit LED TV, which is not as good as a full array back-lit LED TV but still better than just a LCD TV. I find the picture quality satisfying, only when there is fast motion the picture is kind of blurry. It is not a TV I would use for long movie nights, it's more for watching the news and some TV shows. I was watching several diffrent DVDs on this TV, while the picture quality was just average the sound quality was actually pretty good. What I don't like are the menues. It is not very intuitive to navigate through all the settings and some features seem to be not thought through very well.Overall it is a good TV for the price and I would buy it again as a second TV for occasional usage.

  After spending lots of time in  browsing for a new LED television for the past few month, I decided on the Sony 37LE5300.  after seeing the demos at some Store, I was hooked . The picture for some movies really have that pop out effect and i just love it .  In terms of the price, this is an excellent panel with accurate colors, very good black levels and shadow detail, and excellent motion handling.  it sits perfectly in my bed room and its really cool . The speaker system inside the TV is very nice and can be turned up LOUD and CLEAR. Great part is it have 4 HDMI hookups. i think its the best size for any type of game. i am very very happy with this purchage.This tv is just amazing and the HD channels are outstanding! I never thought there would be a big difference between digital channels and HD channels. It is a great buy! I would recommend this to most anyone who is looking for LED HDTV . It is well worth it
