Larger Size French Door Fridge with Easy Open Bottom Drawer
When I saw my friend's new refridgerator and realized that it was a french door fridge, I knew that I wanted one like it for my new home. My husband and I looked at almost all the french door models in various appliance stores before deciding on this LG fridge. We wanted one that was large enough to hold food and drinks for our family of six and this 30.5 cubic foot fridge did the trick. It has a button on the handle and when pressed, it opens just the front part of the fridge, giving you quick access to milk, juice, soda and any other drinks placed in this compartment, without having to open up the rest of the fridge. And when you do need to open the inside, you can open it from the left or from the right side so my family and I have devised a way to organize our fridge so that when we need something, we know which door to open. The ice maker is also great. It makes ice cubes that are smaller than other refridgerators we've had, which I like. I tend to select the crushed ice cubes option when getting ice from my fridge while everyone else just likes the ice cubes. Having to switch back and forth can get annoying and I no longer have to worry about that with this fridge. Since the ice cubes are smaller, they are like crushed ice to me and I no longer feel like I have to select the crushed version. The biggest reason we got this fridge is because of the bottom drawer. I was worried that once all the frozen food was in there, it would be difficult for me (and more so my mom who lives with us and loves to cook) to open the drawer. It was hard enough to open the drawers of the floor models at the stores and they weren't even full of frozens. This door was light and easy to open, a feature we could only find in two different models. This option, along with the others mentioned are why we love this fridge!
