LG 30" freestanding gas range LRG30355ST Review

Purchased this LG-stainless steel, self-cleaning, free standing range for our new home 8 months ago. The whole appliance gets a 5 star from me but I have to say my favorite feature is the "Super Boil Burner" - taking barely 5 minutes to boil water as well as being able to accommodate larger cookware. There are 5 sealed burners total.The cast iron grates are professionally heavy and flat across the top making it easy to slide a pan from one side to the other and they are dishwasher safe. The middle burner allows you to simmer and maintain 700 BTUs to keep sauces at the proper temp.

The oven has ample room with 2 full-width racks. The heating is even throughout.There is a delay-bake feature as well.The oven is self-cleaning with variable times. The oven window is very large and there is an interior oven light so you can check the progress of what's baking without loosing heat by opening the oven door.

 Beneath the oven door is a warming drawer with 3 heat settings that keep main courses or desserts warm till ready to serve.

Wasn't sure I'd like the stainless steel front and the black tray beneath the sealed burners to but it has proven easy to keep clean.

The whole appearance of this appliance oozes "professionally serious", with it's substantial grates, large control knobs and easy to use,visually pleasing green VFD on black indicating your settings for ease of operation with the smooth touch panel.
