This LG SteamWasher (WM3001HPA) has exceeded our expectations. We have owned this washer for several years now and it has been reliable and durable. It has not malfunctioned in all the years we have owned it. It is quiet, cleans extremely well, uses far less water than any other washing machine we have ever used, and it is also much more energy efficient. It is even large enough to clean my comforter, which means I don't have to take it to the dry cleaners or a laundromat. For items that are more heavily soiled or more stubborn stains, its Steam feature has performed extremely well. I also use the "Wash/Rinse Optimizer" feature for nearly every load. Just with the touch of a button that feature allows the machine to recognize and adjust the amount of water used based on detergent amount (i.e., more detergent detected in load then more water used or less detergent detected then much less water used during the rinse cycle). I also like the "Tub Clean" feature. Again, I just put the bleach in the proper compartment, press the "Tub Clean" button and walk away. In less than an hour it is fresh and clean. Even with all of its great features, it is not complicated to use at all. And the digital screen makes it nearly foolproof. We also really like the look of this washer. We got the silver color and it looks great and stays clean. I would recommend this washer to anyone. Even though the drum is bigger than any washer we have owned before, I wish it was even bigger. Energy Efficiency Because of its technology, it does not have to run as long, which means less energy used. Cleaning Time It's plenty fast, but if you need something washed even faster it does have a "Quickwash" button, which drastically cuts the cleaning time. Performance It cleans extremely well and is quiet too. Ease of Use Everything is labeled well and the digital screen tells you exactly what the machine is doing (e.g., time remaining on current wash). Design Even though the capacity is quite large, I do wish it was even larger. But, that is being picky seeing as how it is, after all, a home rather than a commercial machine. Durability Has never malfunctioned in all the years we have owned it.
