This stuff used to be GREAT, but they "new and improved" it and it's no longer all that great! I used to use it in my carpet cleaner, but now it's ineffective. It now has detergents and fragrance in it. Thank goodness I had an old container of Sun Oxygen cleaner to get the mud out of my carpet. Next time, I'll probably buy the name-brand, just to get the carpet CLEAN.

While I do want to love this product (especially for the price! I get it all the time my local 99 Cents Only Store), I just can't seem to justify putting in my list of items I can't do without (although I do keep trying). It just doesn't dissolve as well as I'd like for it, even though I always use it with warm water like it says in the directions. And when I use it with my laundry as a "bleach alternative", it doesn't do as good of a job as bleach but also it doesn't seem to be as gentle as it claims to be, either. One additional warning, and I can't recall if it says this on the label or not, but you should definitely wear gloves when handling this product as it's very rough on your hands. Performance My towels and bed sheets feel rough but not quite cleaned when I've used this stuff as a laundry additive. And I haven't been too impressed with it as a laundry stain remover, either. In my shower, however, which has this gross kind of textured floor and plastic type shower stall walls, it is amazing. Does a great job there of making it bright white when it's allowed to be left on the surface and then scrubbed with a brush. It's not magic, by any means, but it can do pretty good in certain circumstances. Scent It smells clean, kind of like bleach. It comes in other fragrances, as well, such as Orange (which doesn't actually smell like Orange, but it's different).

I make my own laundry soap. This is a great addition to the mixture. I also add an extra scoop in my boyfriends greasy work clothes or the boys socks! I also used this to clean the grout on my tile floors. Amazing stuff for the price! Performance Also gets juice, wine etc out! Scent I love the scent!
