Interesting Restoration

I appreciate the time and money that has gone into the restoration of this facility, and it was enjoyable for that reason..but only for a one-time visit and only if you enjoy the restoration aspect. After a long day's drive, it is not really a comfortable room. The room is very poorly lit and it has absolutely no chairs. I realize it is supposed to be a '30's atmosphere... I guess we just discovered that we are not comfortable in a '30's lodging. The general hotel facility area is beautifully restored and the food in the dining room is outstanding but I feel they need to reach a happier medium... read full review »
