Going downhill fast.

Safety conscious, appreciative of good service, married, in need of fast effective workouts, Like to take a shower after a workout, laid-back, appreciate nice things

I had a membership to this place for five years and I just let it lapse last month. There were too many incidents of stealing from the lockers. Also, I have fibromyalgia so my doctor recommended that I swim and use a hot tub for the sore muscles. The pool was area was not that clean and the hot tub was not always working, Worse than that, they posted a sign saying that you had to wear a BATHING SUIT in the hot tub and several times when I was in there, men would come in in their UNDERWEAR!!!! That stuff is almost transparent when wet. I would complain and they never did anything about... review »

Serious problem with thieves breaking in to lockers.

Been a member for a while. Last time I was there (signed in at 10/31/07 6:30AM), when I got back to my locker, it had been broken in to. My pants had been taken out and moved to a different part of the locker room. Wallet, cellphone and cash all gone.

Police patrol officer said, "Yea, I was here four times last night writing up incidents!"

Morrow Police investigator said, "We've got a real problem over there!"

All I have gotten from LA Fitness people is promises, "We'll take care of you. Don't worry." So far, I've gotten zip.

This LA Fitness needs a facelift

As soon as we heard there was going to be a new LA Fitness in McDonough we checked it out. The one in Morrow is showing signs of age and some of the equipment had never been replaced for as long as we went there. The rules, posted on the walls, are not followed by members and the music is awful.

This gym has one of the most flexible plans I have ever seen. You can suspend your membership almost indefinately if you travel, have family emergencies and only pay $10 per month. You can go whenever you like. Usually (even when it is a peak time) you can find a piece of equipment to workout on. The staff is professional and nice. It is kept very clean and the Dry Heat Sauna are separate. One for the men's locker room and one for the ladies locker room.
