When I was pregnant with my first child, I was in the hospital at 30 weeks with pre-eclampsia. I couldn't do ANYTHING to get ready for this baby. The nursery wasn't set up. Nothing.
It wasn't surprising that just a few weeks later, our son shocked us all and immediately went to the NICU. Between shuffling from home to the hospital and trying to recoop, I was exhausted. We set up a pack and play and turned to the changing table, our first "real" piece of furntiure. Neither my husband or I wanted to put it together, but we knew it had to be done.
This changing table surprised us both. We put it together within 10 minutes and have used it now for more than four years. It has been used for everything and continues to hold diapers, wipes and spare linen for the crib with ease. We've never worried that the table couldn't hold our child - even when our son decied to jump on it with all his mite.
If you do get this table, I would advise investing in some nice baskets to help make the room look more organized. Other than that? There's nothing to add to this changing table. It's absolutely perfect without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.
My advice? Get this changing table!
