I picked up a L.A. Colors Moisturizing lip gloss in a .32 oz dispenser. It looks a bit different than the photo here. It's more like a plastic cylinder with a longer top that holds a brush, about the size and shape of a mascara tube. My first impression was that this color was very similiar to my fav MK lip gloss in beach bronze. I liked the color and the shimmer a lot. It was thick and fairy long lasting. I got several compliments and people couldn't believe this was just a drug store lip gloss. It looks great. There was just one problem. The lip gloss tube was leaky around the seal where the top screwed in. I cleaned it up and thought maybe I hadn't put it on tight enough. The leakiness kept happening and what a mess. I was going through my make up remover clothes just to pick up and put on this lip gloss. I thought maybe I had gotten a bum dispenser. I was hoping so because I really liked the lip gloss. Then lo and behold I come here to review this L.A. Colors moisturizing lip gloss and learn that trusted reviewer Meri had the same problem. She called it the "ruinator of purses." ***My Viewpoint: *** While I liked the gloss a lot, there's something up with the leaky dispensers L.A. Colors that has to be fixed for this lip gloss lover could put it in her tool box again.

I purchased a tube of **L.A. Colors Moisturizing Glossy Lips sheer lipgloss **in "Cherry Pie", a deep burgundy lip gloss to take on a recent trip. The color was gorgeous in the tube and I was excited to try out my new find, but, it didn't take long before that excitement turned to disappointment. **L.A. Colors Moisturizing Glossy Lips sheer lipgloss **comes in a plastic tube and holds .34 ounces of gloss. It looks like most other tube glosses until you take the plastic top off. As with other tube gloss there is a slanted applicator, but this one is made of felt instead of plastic. The idea, I think, is that the felt will help absorb excess gloss and help spread the gloss evenly across the lips. The problem with the applicator is that it leaks. Did I mention it leaks? (all over my leather purse!) The first time I used the the gloss I loved the color! Because the gloss is *sheer* the color is more of a shiny stain than a lipstick, it was very pretty. The stickiness was *not*, however. I felt like I had applied glue to my lips instead of a cosmetic.   **Bottom Line:** I thought I could live with the stickiness because I liked the color so much. What I didn't know was that within a few uses the gloss would be nothing more than a huge mess in my handbag.  Yuck! That was the last nail in the coffin. I threw out the tube of gloss and do not intend to purchase another one. ****
