Oh, yesterday I was in such a mood for my mom's home made fried chicken, so I ran to the store, bought my chicken and I wanted cornbread to be one of the sides.  I should have just made it from scratch, but I opted to buy **Krusteaz's Honey Cornbread** mix which is a brand I use for my bread maker and never had issues before. It was easy to mix and put together and it baked up to a wonderful, fluffy, golden color on top, but a whiter color inside, great texture, but the flavor didn't strike me as cornbread and when it was baking it didn't smell like cornbread either.  A sweat bread, OK, but cornbread has a certain flavor and this just didn't do it for us.  If your looking for a real cornbread taste in a box, Krusteaz isn't the brand. Sad for us, but the birds will be happy today...they will get a sweat treat of this "cornbread".
