A versatile little grinder for the money

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Okay, if you're really into coffee and insist on grinding your own, this one probably isn't going to do it for you.  And, if you're the kind of person who wants to grind a pound at a time, this certainly isn't going to work for you.

But, if you like to keep some specialty beans stashed away in the fridge and occasionally brew a pot or less at a time it could be for you.  It's an inexpensive little grinder that takes up very little room and it can pop into action at a moments notice.

Why do I own it?

Good question.  Honestly, I don't often feel the need to grind my own coffee at home.  The Xenos drink mass quantities of coffee at all hours of the day and night.&nbsp...

Krups Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder F203

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This Krups coffee grinder is wonderful for grinding whole coffee beans and spices. It grinds enough coffee for 20 cups of coffee ... my favorite being Starbucks. I use it to grind whole white peppercorn and cinnamon as well.

The grinder is easy to clean ...no sharp blades. You don't need to worry too much about residual odors from the spices. However it might be beneficial to get two of these ... one for coffee and one for spices.

It's simple to use, just pour in the coffee beans, put the cover back on and press down. The longer you hold the top down, the finer the grind.

The grinder is stylish, light, compact and has an acceptable noise level. I got the black one to match my other kitchen appliances.

One and only

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We've been through a couple of coffee bean grinder until we found Krups **Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder F203. **As it says in the name, quick touch does the job.

We drink coffee every day and usually my husband makes coffee when he goes down to the kitchen before he goes to work, it is around 4 am. He makes coffee for both of us.

We came to the conclusion that freshly grounded coffee beans give you the most aromatic coffee! So he grinds coffee with this Krups Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder F203.

My only negative comment is this is a bit noisy, but all the grinders are noisy, so not much for the down-side.

One fill is good for about 5 cups worth of coffee grind for us, so no need to do it twice. Usually only take is 5 second. To minimize the noise, I wrap the grinder with dish towel. Nobody upstairs hear a thing and problem solved.

A few taps will take out all the grind from the grinder and normally I don't even need the brush.

Krups Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder for many grinding needs

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I received the Krups Fast-Touch Grinder for a Christmas gift along with a bag of coffee beans. I had another brand of coffee grinder that broke after a few years of casual use. I have had the Krupps coffee grinder for at least five years and it works as well as the day I received it. Not only do I use it to grind coffee beans, but I have used it to grind peppercorns, and flax seed. It works so well and is so easy to clean. No matter what I am grinding, it is very easy to wipe it clean with a dry paper towel. It does not take long to get a nice grind of whatever you are grinding. Also, my previous coffee grinder had to be pulsed continuously to work well. With the Krups grinder, you simple press the button and you have your grind in a matter of seconds. This is a great little machine and very handy to have.

Krups Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder is super

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Once you start grinding your own coffee beans you'll never go back. This is inexpensive and totally gets the job done. You can not do a lot of beans at a time, so I just pour in some beans, do a quick grind (30 seconds or less); dump them into my ground coffee container, and then add more beans to do this a few more times. It's best to have fresh grounds every few days anyway. This model is easy to use but does require care when cleaning, as you might nick yourself on the blade. I do a thorough cleaning before using it for flaxseeds, which is another great use for it. Flaxseeds should also be ground in small batches and then refrigerated once ground. This 200-watt motor is powerful enough for my small purposes. I have not tried it with nuts or grains but assume it would work fine for those as well. It comes with a one year limited warranty, but I would advise grinding in short spurts so as not to "burn" the motor.

Very happy with the Krups Coffee Grinder

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My husband insist on freshly ground coffee in the morning and I'll admit I've gotten rather spoiled by the flavor myself.  I've loved the freshly ground coffee but not my coffee bean grinder.  We had a Starbuck's Barista bean grinder that in my opinion was too large for the job and made too much of a mess.  While I could choose settings for how much beans I wanted to grind or how dark I liked my coffee, I was wiping up ( and wasting) coffee grounds everyday. It was impossible to get the ground coffee out without a big mess.

Now I am the proud owner of a Krups bean grinder.  It doesn't have settings so you'll just have to learn to eyeball how much coffee you need but once you know that, the Krups is super easy to use.

The only draw backs of this bean grinder are the lack of settings and it is loud to use but I haven't found a bean grinder yet that isn't.  Have you?

Why I like the Krups coffee grinder:

-Small size

-No mess

-Does the job well

-Easy to use and super fast

Krups Fast Touch Coffee Grinder F203 Get It Done Fast

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I am not a huge coffee drinker. I don't drink it every morning, I only drink it on mornings or any time I am really dragging. I happen to absolutely love the smell of fresh ground coffee though there is nothing like that wonderful smell. I decided that since I only drink coffee occasionally it might be wise to get a little grinder and just grind a bit up at a time and save the rest for later. The Krups Fast Touch Coffee Grinder F203 was just the perfect thing for me.

The Krups Fast Touch Coffee Grinder F203 has an oval design which makes it thin and sleek so you can slide it in to a cabinet or on to your counter with ease. it is black so it blends in well with just about any design.

Good for coffee and more

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Ever hear the anecdote about the entomologist who developed a cockraoch allergy and then found that many common foodstuffs would set off the allergy? Well ground coffee was one of those things and hearing that was enough to get me to purchase my own coffee grinder. I had also heard that they could be used for grinding all kinds of things including whole dried spices and nuts, so I had a little bit of extra motivation.

I have used my Krups coffee grinder for coffee beans and more. It does a good job on the beans (as a bonus, the coffee is also extra tasty this way) as well as on almonds: I just put a handful in and the next thing I know, I have an almost chunk-free meal. Occasionally I will even throw in a handful of garlic cloves when I don't feel like chopping, but those don't come out quite so well. I may be asking a little much though. It is a bit hard to clean - this is my only complaint.

My Krups Fast-Touch is 20 years old and still works like new.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

If you're looking for a small kitchen appliance that lasts and lasts, the Krups Fast-Touch Grinder is the best little device around. I lost count of how many pots of coffee have been brewed from beans ground in my Krups.

Of course, it's not all peaches and cream. It's a little tricky to clean and it is Loud. If  you have a hard time waking your spouse in the morning, this is the grinder for you. If you like a peaceful start to your day, think twice about the Krups Fast-Touch.

You can't calibrate this grinder for different grinds. However, with some  practice and attention, you can usually get a feel for it.

I've found that using a pulsing action works really well. Push the button for a few seconds, release it, shake the grinder, and then press the button again. By doing this, I've gotten an acceptable espresso grind. I

The Fast-Touch works for grinding small quantities of spices as well. You don't want to use really hard whole spices such as nutmeg, though.

an affordable grinder great for coffee or dried herbs

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Krups F203 Fast-touch Coffee Grinder is so basic and affordable, it's hard to beat.

The Krups grinder is perfectly designed for a single pot of brewed coffee (4 to 10 "cups" in a standard drip or cone-style carafe). Fill the beans to the (diagonal) brim—it works better if you don't overfill, so try not to make it a heaping load of beans.

The Krups grinder is versatile. When I found this puppy, I picked up two: one for coffee (in black) and one for dried herbs (in white). At the time, it was tough to find fresh rosemary, and grinding dry rosemary leaves in a mortar and pestle is like trying to corral a circus of fleas—the little buggers keep jumping out! The Krups grinder i...

Great little grinder

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've been using the Krups Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder for a long time, and it still works as good now as it did with the first use. I've been very pleased with it's reliability. It's small and compact, so stores easily. It works quick and efficiently, and it takes just a few seconds to grind a small batch of coffee beans. Perfect for those hectic mornings! I also love that it's easy to clean up. It's the perfect tool for a perfect cup of fresh and aromatic coffee! One consideration is that, since it is small, you can't grind a lot of beans at one time. That doesn't bother me since the process is so quick. Also, it is a bit noisy, so you might not want to be grinding beans in the morning if someone is sleeping nearby.

Great, fast grinder

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I received this coffee grinder as a gift. I like to buy whole coffee beans becaue I feel that it stays fresh longer and makes the coffee taste better. This grinder is easy to use, simply fill it up with the coffee beans, place the cover on top, plug it in, hold down the top for a few seconds and it quickly turns the coffee beans to a fine, ground, quality. It really only takes about five to ten seconds in order to have beans reduced to grounds. It is rather loud when it grinds, so if there are other people in the house sleeping they may be annoyed with grinding coffee early in the morning, but you could always grind it the night before and leave it in the grinder, the top acts like a cover and would keep the coffee fresh until morning. The only problem is it is difficult to clean, but if you use it only for coffee grounds you can just dust it out without a problem.

Krups Fast-Touch Coffee Grinder Works Alright

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

This coffee grinder will do just that... grind your coffee. For a cheap grinder, this is a fine way to go. Like some other reviewers have said, it has a very, very small capacity. This probably isn't a problem for most people, since you can just grind enough for one or two pots of coffee at a time and have the freshest coffee that way, however it's something to keep in mind if you do like to grind a bunch of coffee at once. As another reviewer said, it can leave the beans ground unevenly, which seems to waste some of the coffee (some of the beans aren't ground much at all). If you grind it very finely, it can make the coffee very strong and almost like espresso. As I said, if you are looking for a cheap and easy coffee grinder, this is a good one. If you want one that is going to last you a long time and have any features on it, spend a little more on something else.

trusty coffee sidekick

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This little guy is awesome. It has a very low price and a very small blueprint that is capable of grinding large quantity of coffee for me to. In fact it can to 12 cups of coffee worth of beans. That is a lot. I never do that much in the most I'll do three or four cups worth at a time. It is really easy to operate. You simply put in your choice of beans, based on your preferences, and you wear a couple seconds until the grinder is done and your beans have been grinding by the Krups grinder. It is extremely reliable and have never had one of its blades get caught or stuck on the beans. Every single time I've used it, it has reliably operated for me. It has literally been a zero maintenance an...

Gets the job done

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have owned several of these Krups fast-touch coffee grinders over the years and have given several more as gifts. While this is not my favorite coffee grinder, and it is certainly not the best coffee maker you could buy, I would recommend owning one simply because of the versatility, ease of use and low price point of the Krups fast-touch grinder.

First, the Krups fast-touch coffee grinder is inexpensive. For less than twenty dollars, you can open yourself to a whole new world of fresh whole bean coffee and will never again have to purchase that nasty pre-ground stuff. (It's true that preground coffee can taste excellent when the bag is first opened, but within hours, and I do mean mer...
