We received this waffle maker as a wedding gift and have loved it. It makes thick and delicious waffles, crispy on the outside but very moist on the inside. This waffle maker seems very durable with a minumum of parts (always seems to be an indicator of how long something will last). I probably would not have paid this much for a waffle maker were I paying for it out of pocket (I'm sure plenty of less expensive models would make equally good waffles). The lights on the top can be a little confusing as to when the waffle maker is ready and when the waffle is ready. I usually just check the waffle every so often when I know it is close to being done. Like most waffle makers it can be difficult to clean. The waffles come out very cleanly for the most part but there always seems to be a little greasy residue left behind. Despite these drawbacks though, I love this waffle maker and would highliy recommend it. Plus the waffle recipe in the instruction booklet is delicious.
