Gave me a dry scalp and an itchy head.

2

I don't normally use such an expensive shampoo, but I decided that I would indulge myself for once and splurge a little to hopefully get a nice shiny head of hair that I would love to flaunt around. What I got, however, was a disaster that I never expected would happen. Within the first week of using this product, my scalp and hair reacted very negatively to its effects. It didn't seem to hydrate me at all. On the contrary, it made my hair much dryer and even gave me dandruff because it removed moisture from my scalp. It was very depressing and wasteful to throw away the rest of the bottle when I realized its effects on my head. Furthermore, the smell of this shampoo is very bad. It doesn't even seem to have any sort of a sweet or fresh smell that most shampoos try to achieve. It smelled almost bland and tasteless and it made my nose wrinkle when I smelled it. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this product as it was a waste of my money.

Best Product For Long Hair

5

Having really long hair, (down to my lower back) I have spent many years trying various products. The whole system, Shampoo, Conditioner, Overnight Shampoo, Leave-In Conditioner and detangler proved to be the most successful system of anything I've ever used. My split ends were MASSIVELY decreased, meaning I can go for trims once every 8 - 10 weeks, mostly to even out the ends, not get rid of a lot of split end. You have to be diligent, and it is an expensive product, but if you can afford it and are happy to pay for quality, you'll find yourself quite pleased.

Kronos and Glow www.glow.com is a scam

**False Adertising & Theft by Deception - SCAM!**   Glow sell cosmetics and Kronos hair care products. Glow is a total scam. The parent company is Intelligent Beauty and it has a long, long history of scams.  Do not do business with them.  Kronos products do NOT work well at all.   If they stole your money:   File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org   File a complaint wth the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Bureau of Consumer Protection a www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov   Contact your state Attorny General's Office.   It's a total scam. Glow has a parent company is named **Intelligent Beauty**. According  the Better Business Bureau the following businesses are all the same organization running a scam business under different names. Hundreds of complaints have been filled against them - all for the same deceptive scheme of offering something for FREE and then automatically charging customers for the products and autaomatically senting more of the product every 30-60 days. All of the following companies have the same VP, Mike Shay, listed with the BBB and have headquarters in the same office at 2301 Rosecrans Ave., El Segundo, CA.   The contact for all of the companies is: **Mike Shay, VP**   Address for all of the companites is: 2301 Rosecrans Ave., El Segundo, CA 90266 866-381-4204   Names they do business under (all have the same address, executives, and SCAMS):   Intelligent Beauty (Parent Company) www.ibinc.com   Glow www.glow.com   IQ Derma www.iqderma.com   BeautyFix www.beautyfix.cpom   Raw Natural Beauty www.rawnaturalbeauty.com   Redpoint Beauty www.redpointbeauty.com   What Intelligent Beauty, LLC is doing (and under the business names listed above) is automatically creating accounts that will sent customers products every 30-60 days and automatically charging the customers' credit cards is called a "Negative Rule Option". There there is a federal law to protect consumers from companies like Glow (Intelligent Beauty, LLC) that are deceptive and don't make it the "Negative Rule Option" obvious to readers.   Reference information on the Federal Law of Negative Option Plans is as follows and can be read in full at http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/get-cfr.cgi?TITLE=16&PART=425&SECTION=1&TYPE=TEXT   [Code of Federal Regulations] [Title 16, Volume 1] [Revised as of January 1, 2008] From the U.S. Government Printing Office via GPO Access [CITE: 16CFR425.1] [Page 456-458] TITLE 16--COMMERCIAL PRACTICES CHAPTER I--FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION PART 425_USE OF PRENOTIFICATION NEGATIVE OPTION PLANS--Table of Contents

Great product... but don't buy from the company direct.

I tried the Kronos shampoo and conditioner (I bought the full-sized bottle of each, rather than signing up for the free trial because I read the fine print and didn't want any automatic charges on my credit card). I LOVE the stuff! The shampoo is good, but the conditioner is what really impressed me. I'm puzzled at the reviews where people stated that their hair felt like straw or whatever after they used it (it kind of makes me question if their hair was insanely damaged before they used it and they were expecting a miracle or something). It isn't magic fairy dust shampoo... if you have severaly damaged hair, your only TRUE option is to cut it off and start over. No shampoo and conditioner will reverse all the damage if it is extensive. So as I stated, my expectations were small, but I was pleased. My hair felt clean and was noticeably softer and shinier. But my hair, other than being colored every few months isn't super damaged. I am getting ready to purchase my 2nd bottle of Kronos product now. I really like it!

KRONOS SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER AND FINISHER IS ALL MY HAIR NEEDS

JUNE 2010 I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT, WAS SKEPTICAL BUT CURIOUS.  WHEN IT ARRIVED I PROCRASTINATED USING IT SO I SIMPLY BOUGHT MY OWN BOTTLES, TRANSFERRED THE PRODUCT AND RETURNED THE *KRONOS* BOTTLES.  THE SITE WAS A LITTLE HARD TO FOLLOW SO I CALLED AND GOT A RMA CODE FROM ONE OF THEIR REPS AND AN EMAIL FOLLOWED.  THIS ALL HAPPENED IN JULY WHILE I WAS AVOIDING THE WASH AND BLOWDRY METHOD SO I STUCK TO MY REGULAR HAIR REGIMEN. JUST AROUND HALLOWEEN TIME, I THOUGHT TIME FOR A SEASONS CHANGE SO I DECIDED TO USE THE *KRONOS* REGIMEN I SAVED IN JULY.  INSTANTLY, I NOTICED A DIFFERENCE.  I LIKE THE SCENT OF THE PRODUCTS AND I LIKE HOW MY HAIR FEELS AND LOOKS.  MY HAIR ALWAYS GETS SUPER FRIZZY IN HUMIDITY AND PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED ON HOW I DON'T TAKE CARE OF IT. EVEN MY OWN BROTHERS (YOUNGER) HAVE TEASED ME AT TIME ABOUT HAVING "OLD LADY HAIR!"  ACTUALLY, I DON'T PUT ALOT OF TIME WORKING ON IT BUT APPARENTLY THE PRODUCTS I'VE USED IN THE PAST DIDN'T DO MUCH FOR IT EITHER.  WELL, NEEDLESS TO SAY I'VE BEEN USING *KRONOS* SINCE MID OCTOBER AND NOW IT'S THANKSGIVING... AND I JUST USED THE END OF MY *KRONOS*.  NOW, I'LL BE LOOKING FOR A SITE WHERE I CAN ORDER PRODUCTS AT WILL, AS NEEDED.  I DON'T LIKE CONTRACTS ESPECIALLY WHEN A COMPANY WANTS MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO DO AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS BUT I'D LIKE TO CONTINUE USING KRONOS MORE REGULARLY AND SEE WHAT MY HAIR LOOKS LIKE BY NEXT SUMMER.

Love the shampoo but hate the price.

I saw the add online and was interested in buying it. When I researched the product's site, it states in the terms and conditions that you are signing up for anoutomatic shipment after the thirty days. Unfortunately, that is usually the part everyone just skips through with out reading it.  As for the product it self, I love it. I have natually curly hair and have spent the majority of my life waking up in the morning looking like Ronald McDonald or the worl'ds largest rat's nest, but with this shampoo and conditioner I have had less tangles and my hair seems to be alot more tame. Grant you, I have not finished my 30 days and I don't know if the effects are long lasting. I also haven't had any experience with dealing with the customer service department at Glow.com, yet. So proceed with caution. After reading all of the reviews here, I have to say, I'm really nervous, but definately more prepared. Thanks Ladies.

NO Stars should be a choice -- This has SCAM written all over it

This scam ONLY serves to prey on people that do not read the fine print.  It is not a good product; it's just a marketing ploy to rob you of your money.  What garbage.  It should be illegal, but unfortunately it works to make these scumbags rich.  Buyer Beware

COSTLY SHAMPOO FOR NO RESON

KRONOS HYDRATING SHAMPOO SMELLS GOOD, IF THIS IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT THAN IT MIGHT  BE WORTH IT TO YOU BUT IT IS CERTAINLY NOT THE MIRACLE SHAMPOO IT'S MADE OUT TO SOUND LIKE, I'M USED TO VO5 AT .79 AND SUAVE AT .99, AND SAW NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL IN THE PERFORMANCE AS A MATTER OF FACT, KRONOS' SMELLS GOOD BUT MY STRAWBERRY VO5 SMELLS EVEN BETTER, I HAVE FINE HAIR AND KORNONS' LEFT MY HAIR LIMP AND LIFELESS, I SAY NO IMPROVEMENT IN MY HAIR AT ALL.  NO KORNONS' HYDRATING SHAMPOO'S COST IS ONLY WORTH IT IF YOU WANT TO BRAG THAT YOU'RE OVER PAYING FOR YOUR SHAMPOO

A few years back, I saw an informational television spot about shampoos in general.  The program segment basically stated that the inexpensive shampoos you can get at a local store/market are just as good, if not better, than more expensive ones.  With the more expensive products, the consumer is typically paying for a brand name or additional perfumes, etc.  The main ingredients are basically the same in most shampoos.  By the way, I *was* interested in the 'Kronos' product, but I typically will not purchase anything on-line unless I do some research first.  With that said, I appreciate all those who gave input on this particular product, and I WILL NOT be purchasing any.
