I picked the tomato basil because we've had a bit much of spinach artichoke dip of late. Alas, different is not necessarily better.
I opened the tub and smelled. I've smelled things like that before, and they were BAD. I gave it a chance anyway, but with foreboding.
As it happens, it wasn't horrible; in fact, my son liked it. Because it was cheese. Mostly, it had very little flavor. I suppose you could call it subtle, but really it was just nigh-on flavorless.
My roommate suggests it might be good for sandwiches. As, say, a very thick, creamy replacement for mayonaisse.
At least the cheese was good quality.
