Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese: A love affair

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've always loved cream cheese.  I care not what I eat it with.  As a snack on a substantial cracker it's ideal or as the medium to float some Nova Scotia Salmon.

Now, my love of spinach and artichoke took longer to develop, but love them I do.  And when Kraft-Philadelphia thought to throw them together with Cream Chease in a spread I couldn't wait to try it.

I find I like it best when spread on a good coarse cracker such as a Triscuit.  Lesser crackers don't do justice to this spread.

To Bagel or Not?

I tried it on a bagel.  It still had that great taste but I found it overwhelmed by all that bagel.  So I tried it on bagel chips instead.  Bingo!  This is a sweet spot.  Great taste and great crunch.  What's not to love?

My Viewpoint

Sure, I can replicate this at home myself.  But why bother?  Philadelphia, the mother of all cream cheese, has a winner here.  I love winners.  Try it.

Kraft Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese is great

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese in the new Spinach & Artichoke flavor is a winner for me.  I picked mine up from Publix supermarket today, and had to try it, as soon as I got home.

My husband had Shepherd's pie and the trimmings, but I went for a freshly made salad, and a slice of whole wheat toast, not buttered but with Philadelphia cream cheese on it.

I loved the taste of the new Spinach & Artichoke.  It gave the sometimes, plain and boring, cream cheese a refreshing veggie taste.  I enjoyed it so much that I made a second slice, and that is unheard of for me.

There is nothing to really dislike about the product.  It delivers a new and exciting flavor.  I would eat regular cream cheese at breakfast time, but the new flavor brings it to a lunch or snack time product for me.

I would recommend Philadelphia new flavor of cream cheese to anyone that enjoys something different.  I can't wait to try the Tomato & Basil flavor too.

Surprised ... I Really Like This

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Philly Cream Cheese, flavored and unflavored, has been a favorite of mine for a long time.  I love to spread it on crackers for an indulgent snack.  I haven't purchased any for quite some time, so this was a special treat.

I have to be honest...it took some time to find this product in stock at the local Publix stores.  But, finally found it over the weekend.

I love spinach dip, but wasn't sure about the combination with artichokes.  I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and this one is a keeper for sure.  I can't wait to serve it at a pool party.  I think it will be a favorite of the crowd.

We LOVED this product!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

If I had a favorite spread - which I really don't because I don't usually eat such things - it would have been immediately replaced by Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread.

We took a 4-day weekend and drove about 3 hours to the beach. We packed some healthy breakfast and lunch items for the condo, but needed some snack items. We stopped at the store near our destination for some nuts and yogurt, and also to pick up the free container of Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread. (It just sounded better than the Tomato & Basil.) It was very easy to find - we quickly grabbed it and headed for the check-out.

Oh, my! From the very first bite, my husband and I both fe...

Yummy appetizer with no fuss

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I purchased the Philadelphia Spinach and Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread. It wasn't any more expensive than the other Philadelphia brands offered and was the same size.

I actually had the opportunity to try it out on several people and the reviews were all positive. The spread is nice and thick - exactly what you'd expect from Philadelphia Cream Cheese, but the flavors were balanced nicely with the addition of the spinach and artichoke. We used Club cracker sticks and dipped the spread right out of the container. I know, not very pretty, but I can easily see this spread being used in a bread bowl. It would make a nice presentation.

Looking forward to getting this again and hopefully using it at a party. Nice and easy!

Great taste for dipping crackers!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I thought the Spinich and Artichoke flavored Philly Cheese was great.  I am a bit biased as I LOVE all kinds of cheeses - soft and spreadable, hard, full bodied flavor, mild flavor, etc.

The Spinich and Artichoke was very good on crackers - makes an awesome snack for watching the game, playing cards with friends, have a glass of wine on the back deck with hubby.

I am anxious to try their other new flavors as well as this is the first flavored Philadelphia cream cheese I have tried.

It makes a great portable dip as well for those picnics, ball games, and brining a plate to share with friends and family!

In a word, "YUM!"

Philly Spinach and Artichoke Spread is my new favorite snack!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I frequently order Spinach and Artichoke Dip when dining out, and like to eat Wheat Thins crackers with cream cheese at home.  I was delighted to have the opportunity to sample the new Philadelphia Spinach and Artichoke Spread, but frankly I was skeptical about how good it could be.

To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.  The spread is still smooth and creamy Philly, but with a delicious flavor!

My husband, daughter and I ate through the tub in a single sitting - if I was planning a party, I would certainly have appreciated having it in a larger tub.

I will definately buy it again, and I am now excited about trying other flavored Philly!

Spinach? Yes! But where's the Artichoke?

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I recently purchased the Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread and overall, it's OK. I was looking for something to enjoy on crackers right out of the fridge. I tried this spread cold on Wheat Thins, but I think it was better when I heated it up a bit in the microwave and then added a little pepper. I could taste the spinach, but couldn't taste much artichoke. I love artichokes so I was dissapointed in that. I probably won't buy this flavor again unless I use it as a base for making my own spinach artichoke dip by adding more artichokes and the putting it into a dish in the oven with some parmesan cheese on top.

Tastes great but too much fat for regular snacking.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Okay Meredith, here is the much-anticipated review on the Kraft Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread.  Wow, that's a long name but it deserves every word in the title!  I went to Publix and picked up my free sample right before leaving for my vacation.  The regular price would be $1.99.

When I got home later that evening I opened it up and spread some on a Ritz cracker.  I thought it was very delicious but it was too late in the evening to eat anymore.  Well, that was Saturday and then I left for my vacation on Sunday.  I began telling my brothers about how good the cream cheese spread was so we went to a Piggly Wiggly near...

Phil. Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese - very bagel-worthy

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

All bagel-lovers know that the bagel is the proper home for a slather of cream cheese. My question was, "How will a blueberry bagel stand up to Spinach & Artichoke flavors in cream cheese? And vice versa?"

I am happy to say that it was an excellent match. The Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese did not overwhelm the blueberry bagel but it still was zesty and flavorful enough to stand on its own.

Truth be known, I am an artichoke nut. I love its piquant flavor and was happy to taste it in this context.

As a result, I have spread it several times on bagels at breakfast (yes, I know) but also at lunch. It even has been served dip-style for wheat crackers, with some nice comments from the guests who were served it.

I recommend it - if you already are fond of spinach dip and like the taste of artichokes.

Tastes as good as Spinach and Artichoke dip!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I don't like cream cheese at all. When I was told about the Spinach and Artichoke flavor, I had to try it since I love the dip so much! My son and I could not stop eating it! It tasted as good as the dip! I will be buying more soon!

Kraft Spinach & Artichoke spread not the best choice for dips

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

Kraft Philadelphia Spinach and Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread is regular cream cheese with a touch of spinach and artichoke flavoring. As a health conscious snacker, I felt guilty simply tasting the cream cheese on my water crackers and pitas. I always choose a fat free variety of cream cheese, and if this variety came in fat free, I may have been more accepting. The flavor wasn't very strong either. I make my own spinach and articoke dip, which I highly prefer over the cream cheese spread.

As a person who enjoys cream cheese on bagels, this would not be a flavor that I would choose.

If I were to purchase this again, I would need a fat-free choice, all natural ingredients, and STRONG flavor with chunks of spinach and artichoke.

This product is addicting!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I easily found the Philadelphia Spinach and Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread in my local Publix. It was located in the dairy section with all the other cream cheese products. I used my free coupon to purchase the product.

I opened the package as soon as I got home. I dipped a tortilla chip in the spread. Delicious!!!! The spread was creamy and flavorful. It was packed with spinach and artichoke bits. I ventured further and toasted some baguette slices brushed with olive oil. I then spread the slices with the Spinach and Artichoke. I sprinkled on some Parmesan cheese and popped them into the oven, until the Parmesan melted. The end result was addicting. This product is convenient and ...

Better than Spinach Dip

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I was surprised to see the two new flavors of Philadelphia Cream Cheese. I tried the Kraft - Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread and was very surprised how great it tasted. I expected the regular cream cheese with just flavoring. You can see the spinach and artichoke pieces in the spread.

It is great on crackers or on celery. I think it is better than the traditional Spinach dip that is made for parties. I can not wait to try the other new flavor
