Anyone with kids knows mac and cheese is one of the staples in their diet.  But I have learned from experience they prefer one kind to another and it has to be made a certain way.

When my girls were younger, they would go to grandma's for lunch and she would fix them mac and cheese.  When they came...

I bought this to "research" an item for a freelance marketing gig. Sweet lord. It's awful. It's just a mess of chemicals and sugar with maybe a handful of semolina thrown in. If you're looking to eat on the cheap, you are better off buying oatmeal. Seriously.

If you have mac n cheese fans in the house, I'm willing to bet they like Kraft the best!

This stuff is never gritty, never lumpy, never bland... as long as you don't overcook or undercook, it comes out exactly the same every single tme. I'll only ever buy Kraft.

I used to use Kraft Mac and Cheese a lot, since I am not at all handy in the kitchen, but I discovered that I liked, of all things, Great Value Mac and Cheese a lot better.  I like the cheese flavor better, and it's way less expensive.  I have not tried the other flavors Kraft makes, which may actually be good, I can't say.  I did just the other day peruse Kraft's mac and cheese offerings at the grocery store, but $1.99 for a box of mac and cheese turned me straight off.

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese used to be a staple side dish for me, all the way through college.  No longer my friends.

I cooked a box recently and threw it all away after a few bites.  I don't know if they've changed the ingredients or my tastebuds have just refined, but it was absolutely awful!  My mouth felt like it had been coated with oil.  Ugh.

Grating fresh cheese on pasta is a much better option.

I grew up loving Kraft Macaroni and Cheese not only because of the great cheese flavor, but because it was so easy to make.  This is a quick and convenient dish to make and has so much flavor.  The cheese sauce tastes homemade and adds a creamy texture to the pasta.  This dinner is made from a box but doesn't taste that way.  Just boil the pasta for a few minutes, sprinkle with the cheese powder, add your milk and stir.  This dish has the high flavor of cheese and is great when you need a dinner in a hurry.  I like to add fresh vegetables to the dish for added nutrients.  Each serving is... review »

I really like Kraft Macaroni and Cheese; however, I do not buy it very often.  I usually do not buy boxed dinners.  Boxed food is probably processed and not as healthy as fresher foods.  I would recommend that they make a whole wheat version.  I tend to buy whole wheat pasta, so it would be nice if that was an option.  I really like Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, but I don't think it is probably very healthy.  I have notice that Kraft (I think) has an organic version of their macaroni and cheese.  I have tried this once or twice and it was not too bad.  It seemed like the taste was somewhat... review »

Anyone with kids probably keeps a few boxes of mac and cheese on hand for a quick meal.  We have tried other brands, store brand and national brands, and this is the one my kids prefer.

It has the cheesiest taste and that may be why it costs a few cents more.  But, it is not overwhelming like the mixes that have the cheese you squeeze out.  Store brands tend to have a gritty texture --not the smooth texture of Kraft.

This is just good, old, reliable mac and cheese and if you cannot make it from scratch, this is the one to buy.  Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra cents and get the original....

I love all Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. It has the best texture, and following the instructions on the box gives you the best results, which is ALWAYS a plus with a product!

The best Kraft Mac and Cheese, however, has got to be the spiral variation. The crevices in the noodles seem to catch the cheese flavor and release it just the right time in your mouth. And, there's a perfect serving size for one hungry person in the spirals box. And leftover mac and cheese is never as good as the first time around!!!

Macaroni and cheese is an easy and quick meal that I use all the time for those evenings or afternoons that are too hot or tiring to cook long meals. All of my family enjoys this meal! I would highly recommend this product. It contains just the right amount of "cheesy" and the packaging includes a proportioned amount of cheese and noodles. Two boxes serve about three bowls for my family and I. It is also a great meal for me to make on my own and save the leftovers for another day!

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is a very easy and good for a quick fix if you are hungry.  I myself have not craved mac and cheese in some odd years but my husband does from time to time.  Usually we will make this for a quick lunch or a side for dinner or sometimes he will have for a snack and then save the left overs.

I do have to admit when I babysit my niece and nephew this is a no fail treat.  For them this is heaven in a box and would eat it day in and day out.

I know that Kraft mac n cheese is not the best thing that you can eat but it is definatly my favorite. To make it a little healthier, I add about 1 /2 cup of butternut squach puree to the pot and it gives it a great flavor and my daughter is never the wiser. We all eat things that aren't good for us on occasion and this is one of those things for my family. We all love it and only eat it in moderation. I guess we just love the taste of fake cheese, who knew?

This dish, when prepared according to package directions, is fairly bland and uninteresting but you can make it into a quick meal by adding chopped ham, chicken, or turkey, then just use your imagination to make it complete--try chopped broccoli, some tomato, or bell pepper and onion. You can also augment the flavor by adding some grated Parmesan or Provolone, or try adding some smoky Cheddar.

Obviously homemade mac and cheese is the best but sometimes there just isn't time.  I've tried lots of other brands and my kids always know the difference.  It is a product I ALWAYS have in my pantry. My husband likes to add a can of tuna and some grated cheese for a fast tuna casserole at lunch.
