It's got a sour taste.

There is something about Kraft Buttermilk Ranch Dressing that my family does not like. It has a sour taste like its gone bad. Kraft is usually a brand that I would buy but I made a huge mistake buying this ranch dressing. My kids and husband love to eat ranch with everything but I had to throw this entire bottle away because the would not eat it.

Kraft Buttermilk Ranch Dressing is my favorite dressing. It has a salty but sweet taste. It's so good! I love it on salads. However, it makes a great dip for chips or vegetables. I also use it in place of mayonnaise! It tastes great on chicken sandwiches! I also like to use it in my pasta salads. It is so rich and creamy! Sometimes I put it on a baked potato with cheese on top! So fattening but so good!

It's no Hidden Valley

I love Ranch dressing, and will use it liberally as both a condiment and as it's intended purpose (for salad). Kraft's Buttermilk ranch leaves much to be desired, as it's not particularly flavorful, and it's a little sweeter than I'd like. It's not the worst out there; but for the same cost, go with Hidden Valley or Ken's, they both taste much better.

This stuff is great and you can eat it on almost everything.

I recommend this product for just about any use you can thinks of. You can use it as a dressing, a dipping sauce or even in a crockpot creation. It works well on almost any food. It helps when you eat spicy food to have ranch to dip it in because it helps to fight the burn. The only problem is that the buttermilk ranch isn't the healthiest sauce, but it tastes so good it's almost worth the trouble.

**Kraft Buttermilk Dressing is delicious! I love the smooth texture, great taste and the way it compliments whatever you use it on. It is priced reasonably and is easy to find on the shelves of stores. ** **I use it not only on salads, but to dip chicken in, I even use it is place of sour cream in certain dishes. It compliments whatever you use it on or in very well.** **I trust the "Kraft" name and I think that they have the best tasting salad dressings there are available. If you haven't tried them, you need to. The Buttermilk Ranch is my favorite. **

It's missing something.

I was so excited to hear about the newly revamped Kraft dressing line. They no longer use preservatives. I am severely allergic to MSG, and it's used in a lot of prepared dressings. I've been forced to make my own ranch dressing for quite a while now, which can be expensive, since you have to use mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk and seasonings. As soon as the new Kraft Ranch dressing hit the shelves, I grabbed a bottle up and rushed home to try it that evening. My husband and I both had it on our salads. We just stopped and looked at each other, disappointed. We agreed that it just didn't taste right. I understand that MSG is a flavor enhancer, but you can add seasonings to rev up the flavor in its place. (I know this from making my own dressing, which is delicious.) The new Kraft Buttermilk Ranch is bland and lifeless.
