Since I am on the go all morning, I love things that are made for convenience, even if I have to pay a little more for this. Shopping the other day, I saw these new Bagel-fuls by Kraft. I will have to admit, at first I thought YUCK, but then realized that I do like bagels and cream cheese, so not sure why these came off as gross at first. Since a box only had 4 bagels, and was under $2, I thought why not give them a try. I chose to try the original.

What they are:
Bagel-fuls basically look like a hot dog, but they are a bagel that are filled with philadelphia cream cheese. They can be refrigerated, and then take less than 30 seconds to heat up, or frozen, and then take less than a minute to heat up. They last 2 weeks in the fridge, and up to 1 year in the freezer. They are able to be hand held to eat. Each bagel-ful is 2.5 oz. and individually packaged. There are several varieties to chose from: plain, cinnamon, strawberry, chive, and whole grain.  Depending on which type you chose, they have 200 calories or less, 5 grams of fat, no trans fat.

What I thought:
These are actually really good. The bagel bread stays soft, even after heating, and there isn't too much cream cheese loaded in it. The cream cheese tasted like getting philadelphia cream cheese in a tub, this just saved me the spreading. The box says to heat for 20 seconds if kept in the fridge, but I liked mine a little warmer, so I added 10 seconds. They are extremely convenient, and even my picky toddler will eat these. It is great that they are individually packaged, makes taking them to work, or anywhere, easy. The only thing that I really dislike is that as you bite into them and get a little over 1/2 way done, the cream cheese starts to slip out the bottom. It is a little on the thicker side, so we haven't had any big messes, but I suggest using a napkin or something around them, just in case. The box of 4 is a little small, but our Sam's Club Wharehouse sells a 16 pack, however, you can only get the original flavor. We liked them so I bought a pack from there. It was a little under $7. Another plus, I heat these up on a paper towel, so I don't use any silverware or dishes either, so there is no mess. So, if you are a fan of bagels and cream cheese, these might be a winner for you too!
