Why are ear buds all one size?

appreciative of good sound quality, mp3 listener

too big for anyone's ears

As with any earbuds, it is so hard to find ones that fit well into my ears. I do not feel my ears are smaller than most, I feel they are quite average, but have such a hard time finding ones that do not fall out 20 thousand times while I am trying to listen to my Mp3 player. Any ideas out there from someone who have found some good earbuds that fit?
