To the Point — — Hanna's had the large Kong Dog Toy since she was very young. I later bought her the small one. She loves her Kongs. — A Closer View — — I see our Kongs more as a way to stimulate Hanna's brain than as a toy. They serve many purposes though ncluding… read full review »

I bought these because they are advertised everywhere as virtually indestructible and rated for heavy chewers....and I was even fair about it, and didn't quibble when my GSD made itty bitty bits out of it in approximately 2 hours (This was the pricey Giant size).  My GSD seems to be able to… read full review »

My dog absolutely loves this toy.  It has been the closest to indestructable I have found.  My dog is not only a heavy chewer, he is also a shredder and loves to tear things apart.  However, if I watch him and make sure he doesn't take chunks out of it, it lasts for a long time.  You can also stick treats in it and dogs are kept busy and are stimulated by trying to get the treat… read full review »

I enjoy them playing with the product. I have two ferrets and they fight over the toy.Now we have two of them. they get stuck under the sofa but its easy to pull out.  We put small treats and in a few mintues they get it out. it is a good toy to hide and sike with the ferret they know whats in it.… read full review »

We first bought the puppy size kong for my mini dachshund to help keep him busy while I was doing house work and studying for school. My baby is such a mama's boy that he wanted to be held all the time. This was such a life saver to me that I later upgraded to the larger red kong because little Bucky became a toy killer and could destroy any toy in 5 minutes flat. We love our kong! It's Bucky proof and has been the best babysitter I ever paid for. We have found many healthy recipes to stuff it with for snack time and if i plan to be gone awhile I'll even freeze it at times to keep him busy… read full review »

I cannot tell you how wonderful this toy is.  I have two puppies(boxer lab mix) who love to chew everything.  This toy has saved my furniture, saved money on toIlet paper(which they like to drag around the house), saved the remaining corners of my area rugs, etc.  I think you can get the point.  They are rambunctious.  But, as I love them and did not want to ever have to give them up, I tried the Kong.  It is amazing.  They will play with this for such a long time.  It keeps them occupoed and out of trouble.  If you have puppies like mine who… read full review »

If a dog could design their own toy then I believe it would be a kong.  It's a cone shaped toy that has an opening on the bottom to insert treats or paste.  It's made of all natural rubber and satisfies the dog's natural urge to chew.  It's also used for therapy and prevention of boredom, separation anxiety and other behavioral issues.  My dog loves his kong.  I don't even have to put treats in it anymore.  Please remember that  proper kong sizing is determined by your dog's size and chewing temperament.  Always supervise your dog with… read full review »

I don't have a dog unfortunately because I don't have a yard, but my fiance and I frequently dog-sit for my sister and we love when their dog plays with his kong I think we might be more entertained by it than he is!  It takes them a while to figure out that there is food inside, but once they do they don't let up until they get it! I've also seen my parent's dogs play with them, and I'm amused how each dog has a different strategy. Eventually, once they've gotten enough treats out of it they just start to carry the kong around in hopes that  a treat will appear inside of it! It's… read full review »

We have had Kongs for several of our dogs over the years. My 100lb Labrador retriever might even love it more then me! I have a Labrador and a Boxer mix who can't destroy a Kong no matter how hard they try, which is very important to me. There isn't a toy brought into this house that hasn't been destroyed within minutes, except for the Kong. Just stuff it full of peanut-butter and freeze it, you dogs will go wild for it. Seamus my Boxer will chew on it for hours and it shows no sign of wear or tear. I can't say enough great stuff about this… read full review »

My dog has to have something to chew on everyday, and the Kong toy is the best I have found. He really loved his first one, so I got several and put his kibble in them. He is happier when he has something to keep him busy while I  am gone to work. Our dogs were bred to work, so staying in the house or in the backyard with nothing to do can really drive them crazy. Enter the Kong toy- the perfect chew toy because it can be stuffed and because it is extremely durable.… read full review »

Never before have I seen a toy that my dogs actually cannot destroy. This toy has lasted through millions of throws and chews. It is a bit heavy when throwing over and over but I guess it has to be to be so durable. I would not recommend this to a small dog because I'm not sure if they would even be able to fit it in their mouths due to the cone shape but definitely recommend it to the large and destructible dog owner. … read full review »

The Red Kong toy is the most indestructable toy ever.  My dog plays with for hours, chewing and throwing it around (it bounces crazy which also entertains the dogs!)  I can put a bit of peanut butter inside it and keep the dog engaged in trying to get the goody inside our for about an hour!  Love this toy.  It was well worth the… read full review »

We have a new puppy in the house. Fun! :)  Honestly, they are a lot of fun, yet, a lot of work, as well. When a visitor would come to our door, the puppy would jump on them, scratch them, and want their attention, with no calming down. So, a friend and dog owner came by one day, and decided to share with us what he had discovered. The toy "Kong" that would be a favorite for the dog and the owners. He was very right. If you have two dogs, I suggest getting them both their own "kong" toy. You can fill the inside with small treats that they make specifically for the "kong" or you can fill… read full review »

After multiple purchases - some rather pricey, we have finally found a toy my dog doesn't chew to pieces in a matter of minutes.   She is perfectly capable of completely destroying a tennis ball in under 30 minutes, so this is quite a feat. — She does manage to hide it sometimes, but it is worth it to have something I don't come home to all over my house. — The most amazing thing is that we have had the same Kong Ball for over a year now and while there are quite a few teeth marks in it, it is still the same one we brought home. — I would recommend this to anyone… read full review »

I have worked all my life with animals, as a veterinary technician in Europe, a riding instructor, a groom, etc. For a number of years I worked for a busy dog training school before openenig my own training and pet sitting business. — — The Kong is as essential as a good leash and collar for any dog owner. The quality is great, it is basically indestructible (although I've heard the stories of the really tough dogs), and os easy to use. Dogs who love to play with toys will love the bounce, dogs who don not play will love it stuffed. You can stuff it, freeze it, stick it in the… read full review »
