Each night when I'm 'fixing' dinner for my dog JaZZy, I also have her fetch her Kong from the crate to be washed and filled for the next day. I put a few pieces of dry food in first, some peanut butter, a few dog treats of some kind, then push in some baby carrots, a piece of banana if I have some, more peanut butter at the end, then finish it off with some more dry food. Having this available helps take the edge off, as she only gets fed once a day, so this serves as her afternoon snack. It's held up pretty good from daily use over the last year or so, but there are some tears now between the big and middle hump, so it will have to be replaced eventually. Still better than having to buy toys that get destroyed and/or eaten up!
