Kong Dog Toy —

This is a wonderful toy for my Golden Lab, Sandy. Kongs are rubber toys with an opening to add either the kong size biscuits made to especially fit the kong, or to add your own selection. For instance there is also a peanut butter spread that can you can fill the toy with.  It keeps your dog busy for a long time and they try to lick out the filler, or by dropping it.  When either you or your dog bounces the rubber, it releases a treat. As a puppy when Sandy was chewing up everything possible, the Kong is indestructable.  The sturdy rubber allows your dog to chew on, bounce, fetch...with no harm to the toy.  I will add regular dog biscuits from time to time and Sandy has learned to chew on the outside, breaking up the biscuits, then dropping it, causing the bounce. When it's bounced the treats will fall out in pieces.  You can add the treats to completly fill it up and he stays busy for quite a long time, working on getting the treats out.  As he grew, so does "KONG".  There is a large size for dogs the size of my now 2 yr. old Lab.  If you want to participate with your dog, throw it and he collects any treats that come out, then fetches to be thrown again. KONG is a toy that you can count on for months and years without deterioration.  The creator of this product is genuis.  I highly recommend this toy for any dog, especially for owners of large dogs. Whenever he's bored, that's the toy he chooses.  Highest praises from a dedicated animal lover.  Especially my 135 lb. baby.

My dog loves this toy. He loves chewing on it and amazingly hasn't taken any big chunks out of it. He really likes it when I hide a treat in there.

Hey. Thanks for the tip. This sounds like a great toy for my dog, Hershey.
