Over the past 40 years I've had my share of dogs. Everything from Cairns to Great Danes & everything in between. Several years ago I bought a kong for my new rescue dog, as she was teething on anything that didn't move, and a few moving objects as well. She sniffed it & walked away. I tried throwing it, peanut butter inside, you name it. It was a bomb. So I had that kong around my house collecting dust for years. Not 1 of my dogs, over the years, played with it. I moved & lost it. Along came another avid chewer. Another kong purchased. I have now had the 2nd kong for 8 years, and not 1 tooth mark on it. So I can say that I have had roughly 30 dogs, of all sizes & ages, turn their noses up at this toy. It's been a waste of time & money for me.
