Just a warning, i am not very good at reviewing but here i go.....

Honestly this is probably the best game in 2008. I think it is one of the best games in the last couple years. I have played all the metal gear solid games and loved every single one of them. From the first cut-scene i was hooked. Also on a side note my wife who has never played any of them, got so into the game, she made me wait to play it until she could watch the cut-scenes with me. This game is not for everyone though. If you are looking for a run and gun game.... this is sooo not it. If you want a GREAT Multilayer, again...

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the final piece of Snake's story of the Metal Gear Series.

You play as "Old Snake", a highly-skilled operative who is now stricken with an aging disorder.  As Snake, you have one last mission. Find and kill your brother, stopping him from taking over the world. You will sneak past enemies or go guns blazing to your goal as traverse through five different locales.

The gameplay and story would, perhaps, not be as effective if Metal Gear Solid 4 did not look and sound so impressive, but truth be told, it's an amazing piece of technology. From the gritty textures of concrete walls to the effective lighting and shadowing, there are few aspects you could reasonably fault. In the biggest battles, billows of smoke fill the screen and blood splatters against the camera--all while meticulously designed helicopters fly overhead and ad-hoc team members take potshots from behind grungy dilapidated vehicles. Yet in the midst of the visual drama, it's the little things...

From the 1st Metal Gear Solid game until this latest release I have been hooked. I have played anything that says metal Gear on it. This title absolutely is the best one. Mr. Kojima never fails with his deep love for cinema & creative thinking.

 This installment does not fail. I will not ruin anything but, if your a MGS fan you will get everything you need. Super graphics, cool weapons, blasts from the past & a ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

 The replay value is high. I would say play it through the first time just for fun. Kill who want, do what you want. But the real skill...

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the latest installment of the Metal Gear series and does not fail to deliver to both long time fans as well as new comers to the series. The graphis are top notch with the processing power of the next generation platform of the Playstation 3 and takes Solid Snake to a whole new level. This game just shows how far video games go when they truly are being developed by some one like Kiojima . The game on its own its full or plots that keep you wanting more, action, romance, honor , fear and death. They show every aspect of human life in a single interactive master pice. I never thought i would enjoy a game so much like this, you always hear people talking about the gameplay and graphics but really a game is no game without a story behind it. Metal Gear Solid is a must have for everyone even if you havent tried any of the earlier Metal Gear Solid series. Graphics are just completely stunning and realistic whi make you go wow, and the story is so interesting that you want to play the game till the very end.

I am reviewing Metal Gear Solid 4

First off some of the most amazing graphics I have ever seen.  Second, game play is amazing with the controls being spot on.  I love the addition of the chameleon suit, it adds a very cool aspect of game play.  At some points you feel like you are playing a movie. 

This game is bad to the bones, it has the best graphics in a game I have ever played. The length of the game is very good also. The story line is good but some of the stuff is really weird. The controls are good also and there is not a ton of buttons you have to remember what they do.
