Konami - PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots Review

Just a warning, i am not very good at reviewing but here i go.....

Honestly this is probably the best game in 2008. I think it is one of the best games in the last couple years. I have played all the metal gear solid games and loved every single one of them. From the first cut-scene i was hooked. Also on a side note my wife who has never played any of them, got so into the game, she made me wait to play it until she could watch the cut-scenes with me. This game is not for everyone though. If you are looking for a run and gun game.... this is sooo not it. If you want a GREAT Multilayer, again this is sooo not it. This is for someone who enjoys a game for what it is "entertainment".

Yes, some of the cut-scenes can be very looong, but it is a MGS game, what do you expect. If you have never played a MGS game, then this is what to expect. It is a tactics game where you can sneak hide, and only kill when it is 100% necessary. If you can wait 1 min for the enemy to walk away from you, then you would want to do that. After you play through the level get ready for a nice 20-45min cut scene explaining everything you just did and/or explaining everything you are going to be doing. expect to see cool weapons and gadgets, and also expect the story to be ..... 007 mixed with Harry Potter, but again that is what makes it a MGS.... If you are even reading this still then you should get the game, it means that you have some interest, and that is all it is going to take for you to be hooked.
