Koldfront PDW45EW Review

I live in a small mobile home that was made before dishwashers and I just had to have a dishwasher.  Portable floor models was out of the question because I didn't want to push a dishwasher back and forth around my kitchen (and I had no room to store a portable floor model).

This Koldfront had the best reviews I could find for a portable counter top dishwasher.  And, I'm not disapointed.

This washer is NOISY when in operations.  And, it takes awhile for it to wash dishes.  I never turn it on when I'm going to be taking a shower shortly or washing clothes.  It has a delay option that allows me to set it before I leave the house for work.

I do keep the rinse aid compartment filled and I use Cascade complete detergent. Normally, my dishes come out perfectly clean.  If a dish went in with something that had already dried on, it may come out with the food still stuck on it.  But, that's not a frequent problem.  I tend to fill the washer as full as I can get it so that may have something to do with it.

I originally had to buy a 50 cent piece from Lowes Home Improvement to put on the piece that connects the hose to the kitchen sink because it leaked while running.  No problems with leaks every since.

If you are short on space and need a dishwasher, I completely recommend this.  It was worth every penny I spent on.
