I absolutely love this bassinet! It is very attractive, and has a classic (but not frilly) look. It can easily be used for a girl or a boy as it is all a cream color. Aside from the attractiveness of the bassinet, there are a lot of really nice features that make this a great purchase. I love the mobile - it has music, lights, sounds and vibration. The best part is that it is removable! You can actually take it off of the bassinet and put it on a crib or changing table. This is a great feature that I haven't seen on anything else! One thing I don't like about the music is the woman singing - that's just weird. It seems to be very comfortable, and the baby always liked taking naps in it. For some reason I had trouble finding extra sheets that would fit. Carter's brand bassinet sheets seem to fit the best. There is also a nice basket underneath that is great for storing toys! Very nice bassinet, and I would highly recommend it.

This bassinet was given to us as a gift.  It was nice and cute though we got no use out of it for our first child because he was so colicky he prefferred to be in our arms constantly.  My second child pretty much got a brand new bassinet out of the box as a result of this.  The Kolcraft Cuddle n Care Rocking Bassinet w/Lights was what she inherited! The teddy bear mobile mesmerized her from day one!  She would stare at it and kick for what seemed like hours! She "talked to them" and I swear she still misses those white bears.  She also liked the light dome.  She was not a fan of the vibrating but it was a little too strong for hers and my liking.  It sounded like it was shaking her so hard even though when you'd feel it, it wasn't.  The singing is a little bizarre.  The voice is weird.  The music assortment is okay.  She preferred the nature sounds.  The bassinet is also very smasll only meant to last until 3 months old at the most.  My daughter grew out of t before 3 months.  She was just too tall.  Overall it did its job and the bear friends my daughter had in the moble were worth it.

I thought this bassinet was great and I got a great deal on it so i'm not too upset. Very cute and gender neutral. I thought it was a little difficult to put together, but did not take too long. I really liked being able to turn it into a rocking cradle, however my daughter did not like it no matter what it was doing. The only time she would fall asleep is if the vibrations were on and it turned off after a very short time. Also the motor for the vibrator was soo loud when I would first turn it on it would startle my baby! Also the songs being sung by an actual person were really creepy. I pad was very thin. It was cute, but that was about it. The mobile was cute, but like I said before the whole thing was way too loud! It was pretty much useless as we only attempted the baby sleeping in it for about a week and then switched to the bassinet attachment on the pack n play. Not bad for the price I paid but I would have been very upset if I paid full cost.

We always thought we would be the parents that put our child in his crib and never let him sleep in our bedroom.  Then, when we brought our child home from the hospital, we realized how wonderful that little crappy bassinet thing at the hospital really was!  We immediately went out and bought a bassinet for our newborn child. We were able to keep this bassinet right next to our bed so that when he woke up in the middle of the night, we were able to be right there.  The nice thing about that is if he was fussing and just needed to be rocked for a second, we were able to calm him down without having to get out of bed and walk across the house. Our son also loved the soothing vibrations.  It absolutely sucked the life out of the batteries and we ended up going through A LOT of batteries, but it was worth it!  Our child seemed plenty comfortable in this bassinet and it was big enough that we were able to keep him in it until about 4 or 5 months old.

My sister let us use her Kolcraft bassinet for my last baby.  I had never used a bassinet before, but I found it extremely convenient.   It was a nice size to fit in our bedroom and we used it until our daughter was around four months old.  I liked the fact that the bassinet had vibrating and music features.  These were very nice to have.  It also had a soft light on the edge so I could check on her in the middle of the night without turning on the room's light.  My only complaint is that the batteries ran out quickly and needed to be replaced often.  The covering was very pretty and it washed up very well.  Even all the dirty handprints from my other children checking on the baby came out nicely.  I also liked the convenience of the basket underneath to store things like sheets, blankets, diapers, and such.  The pad was a little thin and I felt it could have been a little more comfortable, but overall it was a great bassinet.

This is a beautiful and reasonably priced bassinet.  We used it for both of my boys when they were first born.  I loved that it had wheels and could go from the living room during the day to the bedroom at night.  It has a little attachment that vibrates and soothes the baby.  It also has music and a little light, though we never used these features.  The only drawback is that the baskets on the bottom are a litttle cheap looking and not very durable.  But a small price to pay for such a nice product.

I really like the Kolcraft Light Vibes Bassinet.  It was pretty easy to put together.  I like that there are several options.  You can choose to have it rock or be on wheels.  I actually have the back on wheels and the front on rockers so that the back will be raised a few inches.  It seems to help my infant, but I know that setup is not endorsed by Kolcraft, just this mom's solution!  The mobile/light/music/vibration unit is detachable, which is a nice feature.  The light is a good brightness for nighttime feedings.  The music and nature sounds are much more pleasant than most baby equipment sounds seem to be.  The vibration works well, but my baby doesn't really seem to care about whether it is vibrating or not (that is for all of his things that vibrate, not just the bassinet).  The basket on the bottom is great for storing extra diapers and pajamas for overnight changes.  It is also really pretty to look at, but not too girly for our son.

This bassinet is fantastic.  I've read other reviews and it seems like the most common complaint is that the pad is too thin, I actually put a blanket under mine just to make sure that my baby would be comfortable.  Mine came with a sage colored accent on the ribbon and bow... which I loved.  Also the spare bassinet sheets you find fit perfectly... I actually never used the sheet that came with since I found sage sheets to help with the accent color.  My only complaint... and it's not that major because it's to be expected is that when the batteries get low it doesn't vibrate as strongly and when you replace them it seems very strong, but there is an adjuster so it isn't a problem at all.  Some people have also said when turning on the vibration it wakes up the baby... why would you turn the vibration on when the baby is asleep in the first place?  I think it's amazing.  It was my first bassinet and my first baby and it made life a lot easier.  The storage underneath is fabulous too, ample room for whatever you would need.  Great buy!  Get it!

I received this bassinet as a gift for my second child.  My parents purchased this for me and my mother and I spent a lot of time pricing and looking at bassinets.  We ended up getting this one because the price was good.  I love this bassinet!  It is so pretty and elegant but it is very gender neutral.  The pad is not super thick but it is soft.  My son loved the vibrating feature and the pretty mobile.  I loved the light feature it has in the mobile as well as the soft music it plays.   It also rocks easily.  I appreciated being able to draw it right up next to my bed so my son was in easy reach. It is a nice beige color that matches every decor.  The bassinet came with a sheet for the pad that matched the beige of the bassinet.  This bassinet is an economical purchase that is well made.  It will last for use with many babies.   I look forward to using this with my next baby and would recommend it for new babies!

I loved my sons Kolcraft Cuddle and Care Bassinet with the Light Vibes Mobile. It was elegant looking without being girlie. It came apart easliy so I was able to fit it into my car and it was easy to put back together. I even like most of the features on the mobile. I say most because women singing opera to baby music sound awful and this was the only feature my son enjoyed! So for the last 4 months I've been staring at this thing going "when will he ever use it..?" He slept in it once when he was 5 days old and only for about 20 minutes. Yeah, he really hated the bassinet. Everytime I would set him in it he would scream until I picked him up. He was ok in a bed, on the floor, anywhere else. I always thought he was feeling claustrophobic. So if you has a fussy baby don't waste your time or money with this. And if you are a lucky parent of a child who likes small spaces then this is for you. I really liked this bassinet, so did my wife. It has great storage underneath, makes a great night light, and if your baby doesn't use it you can stick clean laundry in it until you have a little time to organize!
