great for kids of any age and parents!

I love love love this stroller! It is so easy to push on numerous terrains and at a comfortable level so your not leaning over while pushing. I absolutely love that it has both a lap belt and over arm belts that makes me feel so much more comfortable placing my 19 month old in there and not having to worry about escape attempts or any boo-boos! I also love that you can turn the seat to face out or to face you and that it folds flat. I just wish that the seat also folded flat but even so it still fits nicely in the trunk and is so easy to fold down and open up again and so much easier to use than the smaller strollers, not to mention the large basket and two cup holders!!

Not very portable, but gorgeous and easy to use.

I shopped around for a couple of weeks looking for the best stroller for the best price when I was pregnant with my daughter. I really wanted one of the more expensive "buggy" type strollers so that when she was small I could have her facing me, but it just wasn't in my price range. Then I saw the Kolcraft Contours Options 3 Wheeler. I was SO EXCITED! This stroller was perfect for my needs and affordable. First of all, the PROS: -Affordable -Sturdy -Easy to handle....one hand easy -Sleek and modern looking -You can switch between stroller and carriage easily -Comfy and well padded -LOTS of compliments! and "Where did you get that?" The Cons: -Heavy -HUGE even when folded down -Not really portable at all unless you have an SUV or Van So in short, if you're looking for expensive quality, but can't really afford it, this is the choice for you. If you need a lightweight option for travel, this isn't the one.

The Kolcraft Contours stroller is Mommy's best friend!

This stroller goes over any terrain and is surprisingly easy to maneuver! It is very roomy and comfy for baby (multi-position seat back) and has lots of storage for both baby and mommy things. It's easy to open and close and seems to be well built. My only issue is that it is a little on the heavy side, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons!

I thought I would love it.

I have to admit I was super excited about this product. I did a lot of research on strollers, car seats etc. when I was registering for my baby shower. It's just Okay. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I thought I would LOVE that fact that it came apart for easy storage, easy to put in the car and so on. Not so much. I actually don't care for that part at all. I did like that feature as I could turn her around if I wanted her to face forward or towards me. I have to admit I even did it once or twice while she was in it. Anyway, as it turns out it wasn't a time saver, it was a hassel. A hassel to put in the car, a hassel to take it out and sometimes a hassel to put it together. I also thought seems how it was so expenisve it would be easy to clean. Wrong again. You can't take the fabric off of it to clean it easily in the washing machine. You have no choice but to hand wash it. Also, not easy. It was great that it came with an attachment to put the car seat in. However, we rarely took the car seat in and out of the car as much as we thought we would so that wasn't really a feature we needed either. I thought when I tried this in the store it was everything I'd wanted. I should've tried more and shopped around more. I doesn't handle bumps well (you can't tell in the store). It has become loud? It lost a screw somehow. Some how over the year I feel as though this product has become a loss. I thought it was last for more than 2 years esp with hardly any use. I certainly thought I would be able to use it with more than one kid. Now I feel like it's garbage. I barley used it and it's now sitting on the porch. I use a stroller I got for free that was used more than this one that cost me an arm and a leg. Guess I'll have to read more reviews next time. I have no idea why this is listed a a jogging stroller. I won't even take if for a walk let alone a jog. Doesn't seem safe. Design Something better would be nice. Although it does fold nicely. Durability Not good. Not good at all.

only for urban use

A friend and I go walking together and she has the Kolcraft Contours 3 wheel Jogging stroller. We have found that if you are using it on a well kept sidewalk or street it works nicely. But if you are trying to use it on other surfaces it just doesn't work as well. Yes the front wheel swivels, but it also catches on tree roots and most other bumps and clumps of grass. It nearly fell sideways several times while we were out on paths. So this is definitely made for urban areas rather then the countryside or small towns where the streets are not as well kept. She has since traded a cousin of hers for a different brand and hopefully we will be out and about again soon, at least when the extreme heat has eased. Design the front wheel catches on most everything Safety the front wheel catches and will tip the stroller over Maneuverability depends on the surfaces you use it on

Very versatile stroller!

When we found out we were pregnant with our second child, one of the products that I wanted to change from what we had for our son was our stroller.  We had an Evenflo Aura stroller with him and were disappointed with it in so many ways.  We set out to find a stroller that handled well, was easy to clean, could accomodate an infant carrier, and most importantly, was comfortable for my husband and I (who are both 6'1") to push.  We found all those things and more in this great Contours Options 3 Wheeled stroller from Kolcraft.  We've been using it for almost 10 months now with our daughter and we just adore this stroller.  It handles smoothly everywhere from shopping malls to playgrounds and mountain trails.  The large wheels just have no problem going over any surface!  Early on, it was awesome to be able to face our daughter in towards me when we were walking, now we have the seat turned around to face the front, how great is that versatility?!  I love the nice large sun shade as well.  There are a few things that I wish Kolcraft would improve about this stroller, however.  It is a little difficult to fold and the latching mechanism is ridiculous.  It is pretty large when folded - it fits in the trunk of my Impala with room to spare, but I think it would be difficult to store in smaller cars.  The basket is very difficult to access when the seat is facing frontwards.  And it doesn't stay standing very easily when it's folded up.  Even with those flaws, I'd purchase this stroller again in a heartbeat! Durability I think it would be more durable if the umbrella part didn't scrape the ground each time you collapse the stroller. Otherwise, it's been very durable

I love this stroller!!!

I absolutly LOVE this stroller. It looks good, I get comments on it all the time. We've been using this for a year and a half, and I wouldn't think of changing strollers for anything. It is so easy to turn, even with one hand. Easy to hold a door open and push the stroller at the same time (important for shopping). The bag underneath is roomy and can hold alot. My infant carrier fit right into the carrier attachment (you take off the seat and put on the carrier holder). You can change the seat direction with child in stroller, I'm sure it probably tells you not to, but my son is 17 months old and I still do it. Everything is so easy when it comes to this stroller, easy to recline buy gently pulling on a bar on the back of the seat, easy to change seat directions, easy to add and remove baby and parent tray. One of the only strollers I've seen with two cup holders on parent tray, plus room for your phone and keys. easy to remove the canopy. I could go on and on.

Love this stroller!

I did a lot of shopping around before I bought this stroller. The price point is reasonable. The style is attractive and the handling is great!! The stroller pushes like a breeze. It moves so easily and can practically turn on a dime. It handles rough terrain with ease. It comes with an infant car seat bar so this stroller does grow with your child! The seat can be put rear facing or front facing which is a very nice feature. Setting the seat rear or forward is very simple and quick too. The seat can tilt back for more comfort for a sleepy child. I love the red color. The canopy closes almost all the way down to the lap bar which is great when the sun is bright and your child is sleeping or if you want strangers to stay away from your child. The stroller is great overall but does have a few cons. The stroller is pretty heavy and bulky when folded up. I could never get the stoller to fold to where you could latch it closed when the seat was facing me. The back wheels are wide and can be difficult when navigating clothing stores. Now that my daughter is almost two her feet reach the housing that the front wheel is in and I'm wondering how much longer she will comfortable fit in this stroller.

Great, versitile stroller

I originally was looking for a stroller where the seat could face either forwards or backwards. It is surprisingly difficult to find a stroller that fits that simple criteria without breaking the bank. I stumbled across the Countours Options 3 Wheeler, and knew it was the stroller for me. Not only is the seat reversible, but because it has three wheels, it turns on a dime! Which is great for easy maneuvering. It is a very smooth ride, and easy to push, it glides easily, and the wheels never get stuck. The basket under the stroller is HUGE. I can fit my large purse, a diaper bag, and still have plenty of room for anything else I might need. The seat has 3 reclining positions, and it's easy to adjsut. I was a little disappointed that it only came in 2 colour options, and they're BOTH red. I would have liked more of a choice. But for the price I'm not complaining. It was a great value, and isn't a bad looking stroller. Also the clips on the harness are kind of difficult to clip in. I wish they were nicer quality.

Extremely Versatile

4

The Kolcraft Coutour Stroller is an excelelnt buy. It is extremely versatile, as you can face the baby towards you or facing out -- normally that feature ends up costing an arm and a leg. Or you can just take the seat out, and convert it to a universal frame for whatever car seat you own. It is extremely easy to handle, with the large wheels in back; it goes exactly where you want it to go! We actually traveled overseas with this, and while it's a great method of transport, it is bulky and large! It's still bulky when folded up, and it is heavy.  Parents have two handy cup holders, and there's even a cup holder for the toddler's sippy cup. The basket also is deep to hold a lot of things -- no probably witih storing the diaper bag! There are a lot of added, nice features. I must say, even though it looks like a jogging stroller, it isn't! I have ran with it a few times, and it functions like one, but I don't think it's created to be a jogger. I also wish the canopy, while large, was a bit bigger to really get the sun out of my baby's face. But overall, it's an excellent stroller.
