they ruined my credit

1

I have been a customer of Kohl's for over ten years. A few months ago I was in the process of moving and I did not receive a bill from Kohl's but I had a receipt and I paid the amount on the receipt. I thought that because of my move my mail was not forwarded correctly. It turns out that I inadvertently changed to receive my bills to email. I had paid the bill late (but did not know it). So Kohl's charged me a late and sent it to an email that did not exist (I am sure it bounced back). So I was getting additional charges added on each month and had not shopped at Kohl's during this time. Credit Karma sent me an alert that my credit score had dropped over 130 points. I check and Kohl's sent my account to the credit score people for none payment. And a few days later I received a letter from Kohl's that they were suspending my account until I paid. So Kohl's had three ways of contacting me: an email that was no longer a supplier of emails my phone number that has not changed in 15 years and a current address. I have called customer service many times and they take no responsibility to get in contact with me. I am canceling my credit card with them I will no longer shop at Kohl's and I will spread the word of how they will not help a customer that has always paid on time until a mistake was made. I did not try to take advantage of Kohl's and I am only able to speak with people in a foreign country who will send it to another department who then will send me a letter. Do not believe this is customer service at all.

Card is held randsom...be leary

1

Be VERY LEARRY in using your Kohls charge this Christmas season!! I recently used my kohls card this weekend and now it is being held ransom by Kohls! They put my card randomly on 'restriction'. I called from my home phone and verified my SS#, birth ID and place of residence. STILL WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. They want me to send them my drivers license and other government issued ID or bill statement. I sent them my drivers license and last Kohls statement which had my name and information on. STILL WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. They want something else, "another form of identity". I asked them to just stop my account if there is fraud on it. They will not stop your account nor tell you why its restricted. YOU ARE STUCK. Former MVC customer for many years...... I appreciate the fact that they want to check on any recent purchases to save my account but obviously there is more to this story but they will not talk to me "how do I know it is you " they keep telling me. beyond frustrated in Ohio..... 😡

Rewards are a Joke

1

Rewards program is just a ploy for repeat spending. So called 'sale' prices are competitive with regular priced items on other sites. Do your research!! Heaven forbid you should ever have to return anything. You cannot return online items for the same value. You have to buy it again online and then go back to the store with both items, return the first item and ask for the difference if the second item is higher. I received a damaged item in the mail, even lost a few dollars by just taking it back to the store but refused to purchase another just like for a higher price. I have yet to get the actual money spent back on a return item, I lose money on anything I have had to return. It is not often but such a frustrating process. If you receive a reward, it should be just that...a reward. If you use rewards on items that are on sale, they take the rewards off first to lessen the amount that you get off on any sale percent. The sale percent should come off first and then your reward, the reward should be taken off last. After all, its suppose to be a reward. I am so tired of their reward game...I have decided to stop shopping with Kohl's.

Corporate greed no human compassion cares about money

So I order an item from your company Order number 567-257-5261. I had already change my billing address to Mesa Arizona and I put shipping address the same. And for some reason it didn't change. Not my fault. But I should have checked to make sure though I immediately noticed it would be going to California to my old address. And I started to use your automated system. It said the automated system is closed? Since the store is closed.? That makes no sense at all whatsoever. I continue this process most of the night to keep getting the same answer from my laptop signing on my phone signing on automated system is closed. So at 7 in the morning I called and got a human to be told sorry it's in fulfillment at that point I told him to transfer me to a supervisor and I got hung up on. I proceeded to call back and talk to to more Associates to get hung up on again when trying to convince them to connect me to a supervisor. I called FedEx to try and change the shipment address and or stop it and was told I could do nothing of the sort they hadn't even picked it up yet and if they did have it the company would have to change the address by simply making a phone call or changing the order online. Now mind you this was between 8 and 9 a.m. when I was on the phone with FedEx in the package wasn't even picked up yet. I called back and got a supervisor to be told basically tough nothing can be done and I told them the situation and that they could call or change the order but they wouldn't do it said it's going to the address it's going to and you'll pay for it. I've contacted corporate three times No answer from them. So I won't pay for this item because I feel I did everything I could to change the shipping address within the time allotted before it was delivered. I will see you in court because I won't pay for this I'll take my chances there. And I have even been on your facebook page about 4 times only to be attacked by your little Kohl flunkies that troll everybody that say

Very poor RETURN POLICY

Have had numerous problems with Kohl's and frankly I no longer shop there. However, I received a Christmas present that was purchased at Kohl's. Realized it had a HOLE in the sleeve and immediately began trying to return it. After 2 chats online and a trip to the store, I have a new dress coming and I've had to PAY extra! My experience has been that Kohl's has great prices and discounts so long as nothing goes wrong. But if any item doesn't fit or doesn't match or HAS A DEFECT then it's going to cost you money. They make it LOOK like a great deal with stacked up discounts and Kohl's Cash but again if anything has to go back, you're going to lose all of that and end up either paying extra or getting a refund less than the amount you paid.

Over My Dead Body

After receiving 2 repeat orders with wrong color items, I was informed the SKU# was wrong at the warehouse compared to the SKU# online. An email informed me the SKU# issue was fixed. In all I spoke with 8 customer reps, was on hold once for 25 min. After the first 2 mistakes I was given extra discounts which required ordering through a customer rep. Today I tried to reorder. That order confirmation email today showed the item being shipped to the billing address after I had a long discussion with the rep about the different shipping address so I know he entered the correct shipping address. Once on the second reorder the computer decided to change the shipping address to match the billing address but the rep caught it before the order was submitted. Today I quickly cancelled that order and all told was on the phone today for 1 hr and 20 min to reorder a 3rd and 4th time this afternoon. Previously I was on the phone at least 3 hours and still got the wrong color for orders #1 and #2. Time will tell if order #4 is in the right color. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER WITH KOHL.COM If it isn't in the store I just won't buy the item. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Their system is terribly flawed an many levels.

Discouraged

No matter how you do it, if you return to Kohl's they manage to take advantage of you. They offer kohl's cash to entice customers to purchase, but if you return even with a receipt you loose the kohl's cash that was used. Kohl's is the biggest rip off when it comes to returns, than any other store. I totally disagree with loosing your kohl's cash on a return. I recently ordered & purchased a comforter, I was sent the wrong one, and when I returned it I lost $15.00 kohl's cash.

I'm so disappointed in the Kohls.com website. My family is tall, and wear sizes that are rarely stocked in the store. I rarely find anything for them in the store, and it's so convenient to shop online, but certainly not very efficient. I can never complete an order without having to restart my browser or computer, because the website "stopped working", or a long script was running, or it just plain locks up when I click on mundane things, like "add to cart". Today's count was 1 computer restart and 6 browser restarts and log ins. Most times, it ends up taking me more time to shop online, than it does to drive to any of the 4 stores that are near my house. Also, the load time when changing from screen to screen is painfully slow. Heaven forbid you click on an item, and want to go back to the list, the "back" button is only on about half of the screens. So you have to use the back arrow, which it takes you back to the log on screen, the home page or the site freezes, which at that point, you have to reselect all the filter settings. Which don't get me started on that. If you filter by one item, you're on your way to shopping, but if you select more than one filter, OMG, get some coffee and a good book. It takes forever to reload the screen so you can select the next filter options. There's no selecting 2 filters in 1 category, well, there is, but again, grab your coffee and your book. It's like watching paint dry, buth without the fresh paint smell, so that's a plus.

Kohls reports you to credit bureaus way too soon!

1

I was a loyal Kohls customer for close to 20 yearrs and probably spend about $2-2K a year there. Over the summer I was late on a payment. I paid my balance with the late fee. I recently had my credit pulled for a loan and there was a derogatory on there from Kohls for 30 being days late. I called and spoke to a supervisor about getting this removed. They were not flexible at all. Long story short, I will not step into a Kohls store ever again. Not only did I pay the late fee but worse, they crash your credit score because they are way too aggressive with reporting these things. Stay away from this credit card!!
